Game Overview
The Lions snapped the longest drought without a playoff win in professional team sports on Sunday night, winning their first playoff game since the 1991 season.
This game is another rematch from the regular season.
Detroit went to Tampa Bay back in Week 6, winning 20-6.
That game was tight throughout, with Detroit going up two scores with 3:19 left in the third quarter.
When that one ended, the Lions had 11.7 expected points added defensively, their third-best game on the season.
The -11.7 EPA generated by the Tampa Bay offense in that game was their worst game on the season.
Tampa Bay left plenty of opportunities on the field in that game, which we will get into more below, but it was one of just two games in which they failed to score a touchdown this season.
