Week 15 DFS Picks: Best Game and Team Stacks

Every week, I will go through the players I am targeting to play in DFS for all games, tournaments, and game stacks.

The idea is that this will paint a clearer picture of framing lineups.

Team & Game Stacks

One of my favorite ways to play DFS from a tournament standpoint is small-field, single-entry to five-max games with fields of 5K or smaller.

Both sites even offer these types of games with fewer than 100 entries (albeit at a higher cost of entry) if you want to go after a really small field.

In these contests, my approach is to go with full-game stacks.

You will likely lose a lot of weeks, but if you get the game right, you will gain a significant advantage.

Just cashing in on one of these over an 18-week season can make your entire year.

When doing these, I want to aggressively build around games that have a wider range of outcomes.

Still, with the reduced number of entries, you can also eat some chalky game stacks because we are going further in the overall game stack than our opponents likely will.

This is the spot where you will find some missing names from the core and tournament play sections.

Just because a player is not mentioned in those two pieces does not mean I will have zero exposure to them.

These are the games I am circling for those tournaments in Week 15, but you can also tie these games into your stacks for other tournaments.

I will analyze the player selections and game writeups, but please refer to the Week 15 Worksheet for a detailed breakdown of the players and games.

Lions at Rams

We have to start here.

This game has a 55-point total and is indoors on a Sunday filled with cold-weather games.

Be ready to swap in and out of this game after the early slate, depending on how your start went.

Since Week 8, the Lions are averaging a league-high 6.5 yards per play.

The Rams are second over that span, averaging 6.3 yards per play.

The Rams are second in points per drive (2.76).

The Lions are third in points per drive (2.69).

The Rams have scored a touchdown on a league-high 35.6% of their drives.

The Lions have scored a touchdown on 32.9% of their drives, 2nd in the league.

The hardest part of this setup is the salary cap.

This game is hard to overstack since all of the core pieces are pricey.

If you are going to load up this game, you will be adding players like Colby Parkinson, Tutu Atwell, or Isaac TeSlaa.

I am going to build smaller stacks around this game for each quarterback, but the Detroit side is easier to run double stacks with.

Jared Goff paired with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams still gives you maneuverability to add key pieces elsewhere, but it is harder to add Puka Nacua to those teams.

Matthew Stafford and one of Nacua or Davante Adams is easier to do than running double stacks.

The clearest mini-stack is Jahmyr Gibbs and Nacua, but both are priced so highly that you will be taking on some near-punt options somewhere in those builds.
