Best NFL Draft Prop Bets Day 2: Hendon Hooker, Browns & More

Unfortunately there’s not much available on the props market entering Day 2 of the NFL Draft. But I’ve picked out a couple of props that may be worth taking a flier on and also a very early prop to consider for the 2024 NFL draft.

Team to draft Hendon Hooker: Las Vegas Raiders (+500)

The opportunity cost was too high to select Hendon Hooker in the first round. There were simply too many other quality players available who didn’t have the baggage of being a 25-year-old and coming off a significant knee injury.

On Day 2, however, Hooker’s upside is worth the lowered risk.

Although Las Vegas acquired Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason, the team also visited with all of the top quarterback prospects, Hooker included. It’s clear they’re hoping to add someone behind Garoppolo, and Hooker is a strong candidate.

Will Levis is +850 to be drafted by the Raiders, and that may be worth a shot as well.

Cleveland Browns first pick: Running Back (+1600)

The Cleveland Browns are favored to draft a defensive lineman with their first selection (-130), but minus odds on a third-round pick is unwarranted confidence 一 especially considering how weak the position is in that range of the draft.

The running back class, however, is strong on Day 2, and Cleveland could easily justify adding someone to take over the Kareem Hunt role behind Nick Chubb

Pittsburgh’s Israel Abanikanda or TCU’s Kendre Miller could be ideal selections.

At +1600, there’s good value on this prop.

2024 NFL Draft: Caleb Williams to be the first quarterback selected (-600)

Some 2024 odds are already posted, and you might need to jump on the Caleb Williams odds now.

The USC prospect is -600 to be the first quarterback selected, which may sound extreme a full year in advance, but he’s that special.

The hype around Williams is different than most quarterbacks a year out from the draft. He’s legitimately in the Andrew Luck/Peyton Manning tier of prospects. Brace yourself for a full year of Patrick Mahomes comparisons.

Williams is also -550 to be the first overall pick, which is probably worth a shot as well. Although Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. at -2000 is an interesting long shot to go number one.

Harrison will be the most coveted wide receiver to enter the draft since Calvin Johnson in 2007. If a team who has recently drafted a quarterback lands the No. 1 pick (maybe the Indianapolis Colts?), Harrison could be the selection.
