Grinding The Wire Advice: Week 9 Waiver Wire Targets

With eight weeks completed, a lot of victory laps have occurred on social media regarding a player being a bust or failure. This is a general reminder that more than half of the fantasy season remains, and no one has won season-long prize money yet.

Two weeks ago, D’Onta Foreman had no fantasy relevance and on Sunday he scored three touchdowns. Six weeks from now there will be a new player that rises from irrelevance. Being ahead in Week 8 is great but only in the sense that you don’t have to come from behind to win the league, but realistically nothing is guaranteed.

The grind does not stop even if leading, continue to build the best line-up of starters and bench of contingency players. No one cares what place you’re in after eight weeks. This is a difficult week with six teams on bye but there is no time to take a week off from building a top team that can make and compete in fantasy playoffs.
