- New Orleans has four passing plays of 20 or more yards, the fewest in the league.
- The Saints have been outscored 44-7 in the first quarter this season, the largest margin in the league.
- New Orleans is the final remaining team that has yet to run an offensive play with the lead.
- The Saints are one of two teams (Cleveland being the other) that have trailed at the half in all four weeks.
- The Saints have scored a touchdown on 16.3% of their drives, 29th in the league.
- New Orleans has allowed a touchdown on 31% of their opponents' drives, 29th in the league.
- The Giants are allowing 35.4 yards per drive, 28th in the league.
- The Giants have reached the red zone (or scored prior) on 43.9% of their drives, sixth in the league.
Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Jaxson Dart: Dart did not light up the box score as a passer in his first NFL game.
He completed 13 of 20 passes (65%) for 111 yards (5.5 Y/A) with a touchdown.
But he added 54 yards and a touchdown rushing, showcasing his ability to contribute as a fantasy option even without front-end passing production.
Dart ended the week as QB10 (19.8 points) thanks to that rushing output.
I prefer to use him as a QB2, but that fringe QB1 area is where he will be again this week.
We cannot count on higher-end passing production with the loss of Malik Nabers, but this is a favorable matchup for a young quarterback.
The Saints are 31st in pressure rate (25.4%).
Dart was pressured on 35.7% of his dropbacks last week (QB15).
When he was pressured, he was 0 for 4 passing with 5 sacks.
He only threw for 6.9 yards per pass attempt when he was kept clean (QB17 last week), but he did complete 81.3% of his passes.
When the Saints have not generated pressure on the opposing passer, they have allowed 7.9 yards per attempt (25th), a 76.3% completion rate (25th), and a 9.7% touchdown rate (30th).
New Orleans has also allowed a handful of rushing yards against the mobile passers they have faced, allowing 38 yards rushing to Kyler Murray in Week 1 and 45 yards to Josh Allen on Sunday.
Spencer Rattler: Four weeks into the season, Rattler is averaging 5.2 yards per pass attempt (30th) with a 3.4% touchdown rate (26th).
He has protected the football (with 1 interception), but the Saints are not asking much of him.
The Saints have the fewest explosive passing plays in the league despite Rattler ranking fifth in dropbacks.
He has not thrown for more than 218 yards in a game despite throwing the fourth-most passes in the league.
Through four weeks, he has only one week higher than QB20 in weekly scoring,
Rattler did rush for a season-high 49 yards on Sunday, if you are looking for an avenue to floor production as a QB2.
The Saints are favored here, but the team total is uninspiring for ceiling expectations.
The Giants did get after the quarterback last week, pressuring Justin Herbert on 45.5% of his dropbacks.
New York moved Abdul Carter outside, playing a season-high 25 snaps off the right edge.
Carter had a season-high 8 pressures and 5 quarterback hits.
When Rattler has been pressured, he has completed 58.1% of his passes (5th) but only for 4.7 Y/A (22nd).
