- The Saints have been outscored 21-6 in the first half (-15), 28th in the league.
- In the third and fourth quarters, the Saints have outscored opponents 42-20 (+22), fourth in the league.
- 79.7% of New Orleans' yardage has come via passing, the highest rate in the league.
- The Raiders have a league-best 68.5% success rate on defense through two weeks.
- The Saints have a 49.3% success rate on defense, 31st.

Raiders vs. Saints Fantasy Quarterback Preview
Tyler Shough
Shough has started out the year as the QB8 (23.2 points) and QB8 (22.4 points).
He has posted back-to-back top-10 weeks without playing in the first half of either game.
Tongue-in-cheek, but if we could convince Shough that every game started in the third quarter, we would be cooking with gas.
In the first half of games so far, Shough's 61.4 rating is ahead of only Cooper Rush (59.4) and Daniel Jones (56.7).
He has completed 22 of 37 passes (59.5%) for 187 yards (5.1 Y/A) with no touchdowns and an interception.
In the second half and overtime of these first two weeks, Shough has completed 40 of 53 passes (75.5%) for 475 yards (9.0 Y/A) with 4 touchdowns and an interception.
Shough has gone on the road as a huge underdog in both Detroit and Baltimore, and the Saints nearly came out with two wins.
Now, he heads home as a favorite.
If you have been riding Shough to this point in 1QB leagues, I'd keep rolling him out because the floor has been so consistently solid.
We want a week without sweating out a potential crater due to a slow start, but going back to last season, Shough has been a top-12 scorer in six of his past eight games, with no week in the bottom half of scoring.
The Raiders have opened the season as the top defense in success rate (68.5%) and fourth in overall EPA.
The Raiders are second in the league in pressure rate (47.1%) through two games with a 12.9% sack rate (also 2nd).
The Saints just lost left tackle Kelvin Banks last week.
His backup is Asim Richards, who allowed 2 pressures on 15 pass-block snaps after entering the game last week.
Now, he will face Maxx Crosby, who just wrecked Joe Alt on Sunday.
The question remains with the Raiders: How good are they after facing the Dolphins and Chargers?
The fact that neither team punched above its weight also suggests they aren't a complete pushover.
Rob Leonard has the Raiders playing zone coverage 85.3% of the time (6th), with high rates of Cover 3 (41.1%) and Cover 6 (23.2%).
Shough has been a lot better against man coverage these first two weeks, completing 71.4% of his passes for 8.0 Y/A and a 9.5% touchdown rate versus man coverage.
Against Cover 3 to open the year (37 dropbacks), Shough is 22 of 32 (68.8%) for 7.9 Y/A with no touchdowns and an interception.
He has only four dropbacks facing Cover 6.
Kirk Cousins
Cousins has thrown 3 touchdown passes in each of the opening two weeks.
The only other quarterback to do that is Bryce Young (welcome to the 2026 season).
In Week 1, we did not see Cousins throw the ball downfield at all, going 1 of 7 for 21 yards with 2 interceptions on throws of 10 or more yards downfield.
On Sunday, he was 8 of 12 for 181 yards with 3 touchdowns and an interception on those throws.
As solid as Cousins has been to open the year, he has leaned on those passing touchdowns more than anyone else (70.6% of his points are those touchdowns).
We will gladly take those touchdowns, but his top-down profile is still more of a floor-based QB2.
Cousins made two starts against Brandon Staley and the Saints last year, finishing those weeks as the QB15 (14.5 points) and QB20 (9.2 points).
Under Staley, the Saints have allowed 6.7 yards per pass attempt (11th) and 10.5 yards per completion (10th).
