According to our personal experience and online user reviews, FanDuel has the best sportsbook app. However, that’s not to say BetMGM's app is terrible. It’s not. It just can't match the unrivaled mobile experience that FanDuel offers.

Despite that, I still prefer the feel and layout of FanDuel. I have found the odds to be very similar. If you’re more concerned with getting your bets in as quickly as possible, though, BetMGM might be better for specific sports markets.

The layout of FanDuel is genuinely the best I’ve ever seen in a sports betting app. You can tell that they’ve gleaned insight from their years of providing a DFS app to craft a very intuitive interface.

The app gets regular performance updates, and if you have an iPhone, you’ll have no issues using it or any of its many features and settings. FanDuel also features great data density, meaning you can see more content per screen without swiping through to the next screen as often.

BetMGM does have a nicely crafted app, but it’s just slightly behind FanDuel in most ways. A quick comparison of these two apps will make it obvious. BetMGM’s app design doesn’t look as premium. Even the banners and ads aren’t as detailed as FanDuel’s.

Security

The good news is that both apps use state-of-the-art SSL encryption. This is the best security they can have to avoid the threat of hackers.

BetMGM easily wins in this category. Unfortunately, FanDuel’s FDP loyalty program doesn't apply to its sportsbook. FanDuel only offers loyalty points for its separate DFS app.
