Best NFL Week 10 Games to Bet On

The NFL's Week 10 schedule features a number of exciting games with ample betting opportunities from Thursday through Monday night. Here are two of the best games you can wager on this week.

Sunday | 9:30 AM ET | Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts (-6.5, O/U 48.5)

The Indianapolis Colts (7-2) had the best record in the NFL, but then they went into Pittsburgh and turned the ball over six times in a 27-20 loss, including five giveaways by quarterback Daniel Jones (three interceptions, two lost fumbles). It's the kind of performance you always worried about Jones having based on his career pedigree, but it all came to a head against a Pittsburgh team that simplified its defense and played with a lot of heart on alumni weekend. Now we wait to see if that game was an outlier, or if it's the beginning of the end for Jones leading the most efficient offense in the NFL. Even the running game was shut down with Jonathan Taylor held to 45 yards, so it wasn't just Jones.

The Colts also face a tough matchup here, as the Falcons have played a respectable pass defense with a good pass rush that sacked Drake Maye six times last week, keeping the team in the game. The bigger issues for the Falcons have been offensive inconsistencies and special teams mistakes, as they are on their third kicker this year after parting ways with John Parker Romo following his missed extra point that could have tied the game for the Falcons (3-5) in New England.

The NFL trade deadline came Tuesday, and the Colts made the biggest splash by sending two first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to the New York Jets in exchange for All-Pro corner Sauce Gardner, the team's 2022 first-round pick. It's a steep price, but this should be more than a one-year rental for the Colts, who are clearly going all in with Jones this season in a year where no team is really standing out as an elite contender. We'll see if Gardner can play this week, as he'll be an ideal fit to follow Drake London, who is really the only Atlanta wide receiver you need to focus on to slow down Michael Penix Jr. and this passing game.

It could be a good game worth getting up early for from Germany, though we have seen a trend towards low scoring in these international games, with the teams maybe experiencing jet lag and underperforming in unknown stadiums. But the Colts have made this trip before under coach Shane Steichen. They beat the Patriots in the ugliest 10-6 game of the 2020s, but we'll see if we can get something better out of this one.

Monday| 8:15 PM ET | Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers (-2.5, O/U 44.5)

At the beginning of the year, this Monday night matchup looked like the one to circle as the potential NFC Game of the Year after the Packers traded for Micah Parsons to deal with the defending champions from Philadelphia. However, after Sunday's events, the game has lost some luster, and it is somewhat surprising to see the Packers remain a 2.5-point home favorite, given that the Eagles (6-2) had their bye week. The Packers lost to Carolina as a 13.5-point favorite, the largest spread loss by any NFL team since December 2023. The Packers also lost tight end Tucker Kraft for the season with a torn ACL, a significant blow to the offense that has largely been the problem in the team's losses.

The Eagles have been feast or famine from half to half this year, but Jalen Hurts has turned in some big moments through the air. They still have Saquon Barkley coming off his best game of the season against the Giants, and no one traded for disgruntled wide receiver A.J. Brown as expected. The gang's still here, and let's not forget the defense is usually solid as long as Jalen Carter is in the lineup. The Packers have taken some steps back from last year, but they are still missing Jayden Reed at wide receiver, and they don't have a suitable backup who can replace the edge Kraft gave them at tight end.

The Packers were 0-2 against the Eagles last year, losing Week 1 in Brazil to them in a shootout and losing a grind of a game in the wildcard playoffs. Adding Parsons was supposed to make up the difference here, but the struggles of the offense should only be compounded by the Kraft injury for Jordan Love and company. Meanwhile, the Eagles had their bye week to prepare for this one, and they usually take care of business after those under coach Nick Sirianni.
