Best NFL DFS Stacks, Week 8: Lineup Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel

Week 8 of the NFL DFS season has arrived, and it is time to win some big money using stacks.

While fantasy football stacks are becoming more prevalent in redraft leagues, the ability to stack players has always been one of the main strategic plays in daily fantasy.

This weekly article will focus on the best stack plays in a given week for DFS.

While these plays can apply to FanDuel and other daily fantasy sites, this article will focus primarily on DraftKings pricing.

What is stacking in DFS?

A fantasy football stack is when you take two or more players from the same team to double your chances of a big score if that team does well. This is a strategy that is especially useful in games with high over unders.

While you can stack a quarterback with a running back and or a tight end, we’ll be focusing on the best stacks available between a quarterback and his pass catchers

What is most important when stacking in DFS?

What is most important to pay attention to, with or without stacking, is a player's cost and their ultimate output of points.

Ultimately, factoring in the elements of stacking players along with a strong return on investment on players' costs will put you in the best position to cash in this season.

Week 8 NFL DFS Stacks & Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Without further ado, here are some of the best DFS stack options for Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season:

QB Bo Nix ($6,000) & WR Courtland Sutton ($6,200)

  • Combined Price: $12,200 – 24.4% of lineup salary

Bo Nix is coming off the second-best fantasy performance by a quarterback this season.

He will look to extend that momentum against a visiting Cowboys team that has been a safe haven for fantasy quarterbacks.

Entering this matchup, the Cowboys are allowing 26.7 points per game to the position. That is 3.8 points more than the next team.

There has only been one game in which they did not allow 20 points to the position.

If you’re looking for a very low ownership percentage, you can pivot to Troy Franklin at just 2.4%.

That said, Courtland Sutton has a low enough percentage at 9.3% where I will invest in the Broncos' leading pass catcher.

So far this season, Sutton has hit 3x his DraftKings price three times.

There have also been two games where he was within a point of that threshold.

One of those games came last against the Giants when he caught 6 of 10 targets for 87 yards.

While Sutton has not scored a touchdown since Week 4, the opportunity to break that streak has never been better.

The Cowboys are currently leading the league with 12 touchdowns allowed to wide receivers.

While this stack absorbs 24.4% of your DraftKings budget, it is a stack where both players have a tremendous chance to score 3x their prices.

QB Joe Flacco ($5,400) & WR Tee Higgins ($5,600)

  • Combined Price: $11,000 – 22% of lineup salary

Clearly, Ja’Marr Chase is worth playing, but between a 23.7% ownership and spending $2,500 less, Tee Higgins is the play to stack with Joe Flacco.

Sauce Gardner is not going to play in Week 8.

That waters down a Jets defense that has allowed the ninth-fewest points per game to wide receivers.

Because of their anemic offense, the winless Jets are allowing the 11th-highest time of possession to opponents.

This will provide enough opportunity for Higgins to build off of his best game this season, where he scored 21.6 points.

Even more intriguing is that between last week and Week 8, Higgins' DraftKings price has gone down by $400.

Then there is Flacco, who has continuously revived his career when switching teams.

In his two games as the Bengals starting quarterback, Flacco has averaged 23.9 points per game.

Going beyond that, the 26 points Flacco scored in Week 7 equal what he scored in his four games with the Browns.

While the Jets have not been terrible on defense, they are one of nine teams to allow over 12 touchdown passes to quarterbacks.

They are also one of two teams that have yet to record an interception.

While it will not be the high-scoring affair that the Browns played in Week 7, the Jets are poor enough on offense that the Browns will have plenty of time to put up fantasy points.

QB Caleb Williams ($5,600) & WR Rome Odunze ($6,300)

  • Combined Price: $11,900 – 23.7% of lineup salary

Caleb Williams made this column last week, but despite the team scoring 26 points, Williams underwhelmed for fantasy.

Even with acknowledging his minimal returns in Week 7, we will stick with Williams and nominate him and Rome Odunze for a stack against the Ravens.

The Ravens are coming off their bye week, but they are still allowing the second-most points to the quarterback position.

That would include the Ravens allowing 22.9 points per game, and they are one of just two teams to have multiple games allowing 30 points to the position.

There is also the likelihood that Lamar Jackson will return to the Ravens' huddle, which should have their offense putting up more points.

This should put Williams in a position to attempt 30 passes for the fourth time this season.

When he has attempted 30 passes this season, Williams has averaged 17.6 points per game.

That average would surpass his 3x price tag, which is a 16.8 point threshold.

Odunze has produced poor numbers over the last two weeks, but the Bears receiver now goes up against a Ravens defense that is allowing 39.5 points per game to wide receivers, the sixth-highest mark in the league.

Included in that is the Ravens being one of five teams to allow double-digit touchdowns to wide receivers.

It is also worth noting that Odunze has a 25% target share, the highest of any wide receiver on the Bears roster.

Between his target share and the Ravens allowing touchdowns to wide receivers, the 18.9 3x threshold is well within reach for Odunze.

John Harbaugh may have removed ping pong tables and other distractions from the Ravens, but the defense still has their inefficiencies.

Look for a bounce back from both Williams and Odunze.
