Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Justin Herbert (TRUST): Herbert was excellent on Thursday night, throwing for 9.1 yards per pass attempt, his highest since Week 1.

He threw 3 touchdowns for the second straight game.

Herbert also added a season-high 62 rushing yards.

He now has 248 rushing yards through 8 games, 58 yards short of a new career high.

The runout could have been better if Minnesota had provided any push.

The Chargers had a 30.3% dropback rate in the second half last week, the lowest in the league.

Despite that, Herbert has produced QB3 and QB4 scoring weeks the past two weeks in completely different game scripts.

We have seen Herbert get back to pushing the ball downfield.

He has averaged 8.2 air yards per throw in each of the past two games after rates of 6.5, 3.8, and 5.8 air yards in Weeks 3 through 5.

What was more impressive was that even with Joe Alt back, Herbert was pressured on a season-high 64.7% of his dropbacks and only threw from a clean pocket on a season-low 20.6% of his dropbacks.

Los Angeles should be able to hold up here.

Tennessee is 24th in pressure rate (31.9%).

With Jeffery Simmons out last week, they had a 28.6% pressure rate against the Colts.

For as long as the Chargers are forced to throw, Herbert has an excellent setup for QB1 production.

The Titans are 22nd in passing points allowed per attempt (0.481), allowing a 72.5% completion rate (31st), 7.8 yards per attempt (28th), and a 5.1% touchdown rate (20th).

The Titans could be without Simmons for another week.

L’Jarius Sneed is on injured reserve, and the Titans just traded starting cornerback Roger McCreary this week.

Cam Ward: Ward has yet to post more than 12.8 standard fantasy points in a game this season.

He has thrown for at least 250 yards in three of the past four games, but he has yet to throw multiple passing touchdowns in a game while throwing an interception in six straight games.

Ward has completed a league-low 57.7% of his passes for 5.9 yards per pass attempt (30th) with a league-low 1.8% touchdown rate.

Ward is a back-end QB2.

He draws a Chargers defense that is second in passing points allowed per attempt (0.333) and third in passing points allowed per game (10.5).
