Colts vs. Steelers Fantasy Quarterback Preview
Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers has posted back-to-back top-10 scoring weeks against the Bengals and Browns.
He has thrown 3 touchdowns in each game, bolstering his fantasy lines.
We cannot count on that every week, but Rodgers has appeal as a volume-based QB2 with added upside in this matchup.
The Steelers are throwing the ball a ton.
Rodgers is averaging 41.8 dropbacks per game, sixth in the league.
Pittsburgh has thrown the ball 6.6% over expectations, 4th in the league.
Rodgers has still struggled to attack downfield.
On throws 10 or more yards downfield, Rodgers has completed 37.7% of his throws (20 of 53), ahead of only Malik Willis (37.5%).
Defenses have been aggressive with Pittsburgh.
Rodgers has faced more man coverage (47.4%) than any other quarterback.
Against man coverage, he has completed 47.3% of his passes (25th) for 6.0 Y/A (15th) and a 5.4% touchdown rate (20th).
The Colts are third in rate of man coverage (29.9%), so he should see a lot of that again.
The Colts have been a volatile pass defense, however, giving up big plays.
They are allowing 8.1 yards per pass attempt (28th) and 13.3 yards per completion (30th).
Daniel Jones
Jones had another rough outing in London, completing 19 of 34 (55.9%) attempts for 143 yards (4.2 Y/A) with zero touchdowns and an interception.
He added a rushing touchdown, but it was hardly enough for gamers.
Jones has kicked off 2026 as the QB29, QB23, QB30, and QB31 in weekly scoring.
He is averaging 5.7 yards per pass attempt, the second-lowest rate among full-season starters.
Jones has a 2.3% touchdown rate (26th), a 3% interception rate (24th), and a first down or touchdown on 28% of his throws (26th).
Jones folded under pressure against Washington, completing 4 of 12 passes for 40 yards (3.3 Y/A) with an interception and a fumble when pressured on Sunday.
Sitting as a back-end QB2, Jones and the Colts have their third road game in four weeks.
They are coming over from London to face a Pittsburgh team on extended rest after playing Thursday.
The Steelers are a bit beat up, which gives the Colts a lifeline.
Derrick Harmon was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury.
Jamel Dean is out for multiple weeks with an ankle injury.
The Steelers have allowed a 68.4% completion rate (26th), 7.9 yards per target (25th), and a 4.4% touchdown rate (16th).
