Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Dak Prescott (TRUST): Prescott closed Week 2 as the QB6 (22.1 points).

He completed 38 of 52 attempts (73.1%) for 361 yards with 2 touchdowns (and an interception), adding 17 yards rushing.

Some jailbreak game script and two overtime possessions to propel Prescott’s counting stats.

He went 16 of 21 for 184 yards (8.8 Y/A) with a touchdown over the final two periods after throwing for 5.7 yards per attempt through the first three quarters.

This game could be a shootout as neither defense has been efficient over the opening two weeks.

The Bears have allowed QB1 scoring weeks to J.J. McCarthy (22.2 points) and Jared Goff (34 points) to open the year.

Chicago is 31st in pressure rate (18.9%).

When they have not gotten pressure, they have allowed a 75.6% completion rate and 8.8 yards per pass attempt.

The Bears have had issues defending downfield throws through two weeks.

Passers have completed 73.3% (11 of 15) of throws 10 or more yards downfield against them with 3 touchdowns.

The league completion rate on those throws is 49%.

Caleb Williams (TRUST): Williams has opened the season completing fewer than 65% of his passes for fewer than 7.0 yards per pass attempt in each of the opening two games this season.

He has 12.4 and 14.3 passing points in those outings, the difference maker in his fantasy output being that he had a rushing touchdown in Week 1.

Pressure has been his undoing early on.

Under pressure, Williams has completed 43.8% of his passes (23rd) for 4.4 Y/A (27th) with an interception and 6 sacks.

He will be facing a more passive defense here.

Dallas is 23rd in pressure rate (30.8%) and 26th in blitz rate (16.7%).

They have played man coverage at the lowest rate in the league (4.7%).

Dallas has struggled when they have not gotten to the quarterback.

Without pressure, opposing quarterbacks have connected on 39 of 47 passes (83%) for 11.1 yards per pass attempt and 2 touchdowns.

Dallas is fresh off allowing 450 yards passing to Russell Wilson a week after it looked like he could be benched.

They have also allowed a league-high 78 scramble yards through two weeks.

If we can’t play Williams in this spot as a home favorite, he may never earn our trust.
