  • Baltimore has a 4-11 record without Lamar Jackson as a starter since 2019.
  • With Jackson off the field over that span, the Ravens have averaged 4.9 yards per play (29th) compared to 6.1 yards per play with Jackson on the field (2nd).
  • The Ravens are allowing a league-high 126.2 PPR points per game to offenses.
  • Ravens games are averaging 720.6 combined yards per game, second in the league.
  • Rams games are averaging 710.8 combined yards per game, third in the league.
  • 24.4% of the Rams' offensive plays have gained 10 or more yards, third in the league.
  • 15.1% of Rams drives fail to gain a first down, the best rate in the league. The league average is 31.5%.
  • The Rams have allowed a touchdown on 17% of opponent drives, fourth in the league.
  • The Ravens have allowed a touchdown on a league-high 38.2% of opponent possessions.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: Stafford has been on a heater.

He has thrown multiple touchdowns in four straight games.

These past two weeks, he has set a new high in passing yardage while with the Rams.

After throwing for 375 yards in Week 4, Stafford bested that with 389 yards last Thursday.

This is clearly an excellent spot for Stafford, and I would have no issues playing him as a QB1 in 1QB formats.

The only reason I do not have him as a full-on “Trust” is that his QB1 spike weeks in the past two games came in competitive game environments where the Rams were pressured to keep airing it out.

We may not get that here.

That said, while Stafford is throwing, this is a glorious matchup while the Ravens are still missing so many core pieces on defense.

The Ravens have a Week 7 bye, so we still could be without Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, Kyle Hamilton, and Chidobe Awuzie.

The Ravens have allowed 37 or more points in four of their five games this season.

Baltimore is now 29th in pressure rate (28.4%).

They are allowing 20.8 passing points per game, ahead of only the Cowboys (22.2).

These past two weeks, the Ravens have allowed the QB3 overall scorer to Patrick Mahomes (27.3 points) and QB1 overall to C.J. Stroud (28.8 points), allowing 4 passing touchdowns in each outing.

Ravens QB: Things went about as poorly as expected on Sunday for the Baltimore offense without Lamar Jackson against a top defensive unit for the Texans.

Cooper Rush completed 14 of 20 passes for 8.9 yards per pass attempt, but he did not throw a touchdown while throwing 3 interceptions.

Scoring 10 points on Sunday and with the team expected to hold out Jackson one more week with a bye looming in Week 7, John Harbaugh suggested that “everything is on the table” when asked if they would consider playing Tyler Huntley.

If they do name Huntley the starter, he does offer some rushing ability, but would only be a step above Rush as a back-end QB2 for fantasy.

Huntley made five starts with Miami last year, finishing higher than QB20 just once.

Huntley has made 14 starts in his career, finishing as a QB1 scorer just twice.
