Best Super Bowl Sportsbook Promos, Ranked & Explained

New sportsbook customers can get over $5,000 in bonus bets for Super Bowl 60 when they sign up and place qualifying bets at Super Bowl betting sites. We'll explain each Super Bowl betting promo in more detail below, including how to activate the bonuses and whether or not you need a promo code.

1. Bet365: Bet $5, Get $150 Guaranteed

The Bet365 Super Bowl bonus code SHARP365 offers new players $150 in bonus bets guaranteed when they sign up and wager $5 or more. It's the biggest guaranteed bet-and-get sportsbook promo available, as your first bet doesn't have to win to receive the bonus (a significant advantage over the win-conditional offers at FanDuel and DraftKings).

If a bet-and-get bonus isn't your thing, Bet365 also offers a “$1,000 First Bet Safety Net” for players who want maximum protection for a large first bet on the Super Bowl.

2. DraftKings: Bet $5, Get $300 in Bonus Bets

The DraftKings Super Bowl promo offers new users $300 in bonus bets when they sign up and wager at least $5. However, customers must win their first bet to obtain the bonus bets. For this reason, we recommend searching for a Super Bowl bet with odds close to -500, which is the minimum.

While it's not as good as the Bet365 guaranteed Super Bowl betting offer, it similarly doesn't require a winning or losing first bet, which removes stress from the equation.

Super Bowl 60 Preview: Betting on the Seahawks vs. Patriots

It all comes down to this. We'll preview the big game, so you can get an idea of what to expect and how you can wager in order to unlock the Super Bowl betting promos mentioned above.

Sunday| 6:30 PM ET | Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots (+4.5, O/U 46)

The Seattle Seahawks (16-3) and New England Patriots (17-3) are proof that you can move on from legendary coaches like Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll and still end up in the Super Bowl two years later if you hire the right replacement. Mike Vrabel and Mike Macdonald have done a stellar job as defensive coaches, the first such matchup in the Super Bowl since Dan Quinn's Falcons blew a 28-3 lead to Belichick's Patriots in Super Bowl 51. But these coaches are also where they are because of smart offensive coordinator hires in Klint Kubiak (Seahawks) and Josh McDaniels (Patriots).

Those coordinators have Sam Darnold and Drake Maye feeling comfortable this year despite only being in their first year with the system. However, since both quarterbacks are still in their 20s and have never been on a big stage like the Super Bowl, there's a good chance nerves will get to one or both of them. It's not going to be like Super Bowl 49 between Russell Wilson and Tom Brady when they were trying to add to their ring collection. That's why this game is likely going to come down to which quarterback handles the pass rush better, who makes fewer mistakes with turnovers, and who can finish the job in what might not be a high-scoring shootout with these defenses. The Patriots have allowed 19 net points in three playoff games, while the Seahawks rank No. 1 in scoring defense on the season.

But there are reasons to like the underdog Patriots here, as Vrabel has historically been a strong underdog, going back to his Tennessee days. He's got a strong run defense with Milton Williams that can make the game rely more on Darnold's passing, and the Patriots have a lockdown corner in Christian Gonzalez who can do his best to slow down Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is far and away the main threat in this passing game. Few defenses have been able to slow JSN down, but the Patriots might have a matchup for that and try to bait Darnold into risky throws. He led all quarterbacks in turnovers in the regular season, the first quarterback to do that and still reach the Super Bowl since Eli Manning in 2007.

Of course, Eli beat the undefeated Patriots as a massive underdog, while Darnold is a favorite here. But the Seahawks, despite leading the NFL in scoring differential, have had some bumpy games throughout the season. They only scored 13 points in their last trip to Levi's Stadium in a 13-3 win over the 49ers to clinch the No. 1 seed. They were also in a dogfight with Philip Rivers and the Colts just five days after a 44-year-old Rivers ended his 5-year retirement. They nearly lost that one after failing to get in the end zone that day.

The Patriots have not played well on offense at all in the postseason, with Drake Maye struggling to protect the ball, and he's taken 15 sacks (five in each playoff game). The record for sacks taken in a postseason is 19 by Joe Burrow on the 2021 Bengals, so that is in play for Maye here behind his offensive line. But barring a California snowstorm, the Patriots should have the best weather they've had in many weeks in this game, and maybe that will help them get back to a deep passing game if Maye can get comfortable again. The Patriots also haven't run the ball effectively with their backs in the playoffs, as Maye's scrambles have been their best rushing plays.

The Seahawks have been statistically the best team on paper this year, though the Patriots know that teams like that don't usually win the Super Bowl in this era. In fact, underdogs are on a 13-4 ATS run in the Super Bowl and a 4-1 SU run since 2020. It comes down to which quarterback do you trust on the biggest stage? The MVP candidate who's been poor in the playoffs, or the guy in Darnold who everyone expects to implode and start seeing ghosts again.

This one should be fun.
