CFB Betting Lines for Week 14: Odds, Storylines & Betting Tips

CFB Week 14 features six games between ranked teams, and be sure to follow both days, as there is a strong Friday lineup in addition to the usual Saturday schedule.

On Friday at noon, we'll see if No. 7 Ole Miss can finish 11-1 against Mississippi State in their last attempt this regular season to impress for the playoffs. Utah is also a considerable road favorite against Kansas in Big 12 action. At 3:30 PM ET, you'll see the Georgia in-state rivalry between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets with Georgia coming in as the No. 4 team in the nation, looking to complete an 11-1 season for coach Kirby Smart.

On Friday evening, you'll see three big games. No. 2 Indiana can complete a 12-0 regular season behind Heisman Trophy favorite Fernando Mendoza against Purdue in the Big Ten. Then it's the big Texas-sized SEC showdown between No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies and No. 16 Texas Longhorns. It was supposed to be the other way around in the preseason with these teams, but here it's Texas A&M with undefeated season aspirations and a Heisman Trophy finalist in Marcel Reed. But with the Longhorns at home and Arch Manning playing better football, this could be a great game with the Longhorns standing in the way of 12-0 for the Aggies. Then at 9:00 PM out west, it's Arizona State hosting Arizona in the Big 12.

Turning to Saturday's noon window, get excited right away for No. 1 Ohio State at No. 15 Michigan in arguably college football's greatest rivalry. The Wolverines have won the last four matchups, including last year's 13-10 upset in Ohio State without coach Jim Harbaugh, so you never know when an upset can happen in this historic rivalry. But you'll also see if No. 22 Pittsburgh can get to Carson Beck and upset the No. 12 Hurricanes.

At 3:30 PM, ESPN has the big one between No. 14 Vanderbilt and No. 19 Tennessee, where there should be plenty of fireworks with 65.5 points as the total line. LSU vs. No. 8 Oklahoma is like the exact opposite, with a total of 36.5 points, as the offense has fallen apart for the Tigers, and even the Sooners aren't scoring like they were earlier this season in a game that should have been bigger this year before LSU disappointed a little early and fired coach Brian Kelly.

In the evening, you can never go wrong with the Iron Bowl when Auburn and Alabama meet up, as it's usually a tight game in the SEC. Then, the late kickoff features Notre Dame as a huge favorite at Stanford, as the Irish seek their 10th win.
