Biggest NFL Week 8 Injuries:

Patrick Surtain Injury Update

Broncos CB Patrick Surtain left early in the second half due to a shoulder injury.

Surtain suffered a leg injury early on as well, but returned quickly after a brief trip to the medical tent.

Cam Skattebo Injury Update

The Giants rookie running back had to be carted off the field in the second quarter against the Eagles after his leg got caught under himself on a tackle attempt.

Skattebo immediately called for the trainers and his teammates were visibly upset on the field.

It's hard to imagine he will be back on the field any time soon.

Saquon Barkley Injury Update

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley had his best game of the season, rushing for 150 yards, but sat out the end of Sunday's win due to a groin injury.

Following the game, Barkley told reporters he just tweaked his groin and he could have returned if necessary.

Backup Tank Bigsby rushed for 104 yards on nine carries and the Eagles have a bye coming up so Barkley shouldn't miss any time.

Other Notable Week 8 Injuries

  • Falcons WR Drake London was a surprise inactive this week. He was a limited participant in Friday's practice due to a lingering hip injury and was ruled questionable on Saturday.
