Line Movement I Would Still Bet: Myles Garrett to win Defensive Player of the Year +400

Garrett is the new favorite to win this award after a dominant performance on Sunday where he had seven total tackles, eight total pressures, si QB hits, and a franchise-record 4.5 sacks. After Chandler Jones jumped out to a huge lead with five sacks in Week 1, it took Garrett just two weeks to not only catch Jones, but pass him as the league leader in sacks. Cleveland hasn’t started their division games yet which features three teams that are currently in the bottom half of the league in sack percentage allowed, including Cincinnati who is 30th

Garrett has been either the favorite or second-favorite starting in the preseason to win this award and the highest his odds have gotten was last week at +650. He was +550 preseason, so +400 is still in line with what he has been all along but after that performance versus Chicago, he now actually has the metrics to back up his odds. Being the sack leader automatically puts you in the conversation to be  Defensive Player of the Year and with Aaron Donald having won three out of the past four years, the voters will probably be looking to someone else and a performance that Garrett just had on Sunday will certainly get their attention.
