Best NFL DFS Stacks, Week 4: Lineup Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel

Week 4 of the NFL DFS season has arrived, and it is time to win some big money using stacks.

While fantasy football stacks are becoming more prevalent in redraft leagues, the ability to stack players has always been one of the main strategic plays in daily fantasy.

This weekly article will focus on the best stack plays in a given week for DFS.

While these plays can apply to FanDuel and other daily fantasy sites, this article will focus primarily on DraftKings pricing.

What is stacking in DFS?

A fantasy football stack is when you take two or more players from the same team to double your chances of a big score if that team does well. This is a strategy that is especially useful in games with high over unders.

While you can stack a quarterback with a running back and or a tight end, we’ll be focusing on the best stacks available between a quarterback and his pass catchers

What is most important when stacking in DFS?

What is most important to pay attention to, with or without stacking, is a player's cost and their ultimate output of points.

Ultimately, factoring in the elements of stacking players along with a strong return on investment on players' costs will put you in the best position to cash in this season.

Week 4 NFL DFS Stacks & Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Without further ado, here are some of the best DFS stack options for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season:

QB Justin Herbert ($6,300) & WR Keenan Allen ($5,300)

  • Combined Price: $11,600 – 23.2% of lineup salary

While all of the hype in this matchup is centered around the first career start for Jaxson Dart, the Chargers have a stack worth investing in.

Further solidifying his comfort level in this Greg Roman offense, Justin Herbert is the only quarterback with multiple 300-yard passing performances in this early season.

Along with passing yards, Herbert has 6 touchdown passes, 5 of which came in the first two weeks, and just 1 interception.

While his DFS price tag has risen by $500 since Week 1, Herbert is still in a prime position to 3X his DraftKings price.

On the receiving end is Keenan Allen, who is one of seven wide receivers with double-digit targets in two out of the first three games.

While Allen has yet to have a 20-point game this season, he has managed to score more than 3X his DraftKings price in all three of his games.

The Chargers pass catcher is sixth in scoring at his position.

The players ahead of him have an average price of $6,400.

In terms of the opponent, the Giants are one of seven teams to allow 20+ points to quarterbacks in multiple games this season. That has resulted in the defense allowing 19.8 points per game.

As far as the defense against wide receivers, the Giants are allowing 45.1 points per game to the position, good for the second-most in the league.

QB Caleb Williams ($5,800) & WR Rome Odunze ($6,300)

  • Combined Price: $12,100 – 24.2% of lineup salary

Caleb Williams enters this week as the QB3 in points per game.

This is due in large part to his 298 passing yards and 4 touchdowns against the Cowboys.

That performance resulted in 29.1 points scored.

With the two quarterbacks ahead of him being priced at over $7,000, Williams is a tremendous value in Week 4.

The Raiders are tenth in points allowed to quarterbacks, which would include last week when they allowed 21.3 points to Marcus Mariota.

In terms of the pass catcher to pair with Williams, much like his quarterback, Rome Odunze is third in scoring at his position.

Within those fantasy points, the Bears pass catcher has caught a touchdown in all three games this season, already surpassing his rookie season total.

While his points scored is bloated by a 34.8 Week 2 outing, the Raiders present a promising matchup, and a great case for Odunze to have his second 20-point game of the season.

Headed into Week 4, the Raiders are the only defense to allow at least 40 points to wide receivers in all three of their games.

With a completion percentage and yards per pass improving with each game, Williams appears to be getting more comfortable in this Ben Johnson offense.

If the stat column continues to reflect that, Williams will not be priced below $6,000 for much longer.

Now is the time to take advantage of that.

QB Jaxson Dart ($4,500) & WR Malik Nabers ($7,000)

  • Combined Price: $11,500 – 23% of lineup salary

This stack is the DFS dart throw for Week 4, pun intended.

While the Chargers are allowing 15.2 points per game to quarterbacks, the tenth fewest in the league, that was also in matchups against Geno Smith and a struggling Bo Nix.

Several people blame Nix’s early trouble in his sophomore season on the fact that defenses now have tape on the Broncos quarterback.

Jaxson Dart is now the player that defenses in the league do not have a tape to work off of.

While preseason can be taken with a grain of salt, the play of Dart could be an indicator as to why Brian Daboll is pivoting off of Russell Wilson after just three games.

Dart completed 32 of 47 passes for 372 yards and 3 passing touchdowns in the preseason.

Not to forget about his rushing upside, he also had 52 yards on 6 carries with a touchdown.

The Chargers defense is different than anything Dart saw in the preseason, but again, there is a reason why people are excited to see the rookie play.

It is also worth noting that while the Chargers allowed the eighth-fewest points to quarterbacks last season, they only had one game in which they allowed fewer than 10 points to the position.

This is not to suggest the Giants have found their savior, but if you are looking to go with a low rostered quarterback, Dart is worth considering.

Malik Nabers does not require as much of an explanation as suggesting Dart.

Along with being third in targets this season, in his rookie season, Nabers was the only wide receiver in the league to be targeted at least 7 times in 100% of his games.

Much like every other quarterback that has dropped back for the Giants since last season, the directive is clear for Dart.

Get the ball to Nabers.
