- The Ravens have rushed for 150-plus yards in nine consecutive games dating back to last season. That is tied for their longest streak as a franchise.
- The Ravens led the league in rate of plays that gained 10 or more yards (34%) in Week 1 after leading the NFL in rate of plays that gained 10 or more yards in 2024 (25.1%).
- Lamar Jackson targeted his wide receivers on a career-high 78.9% of his throws in Week 1.
- Cleveland running backs had a long run of 5 yards in Week 1 (on 21 attempts), the lowest longest rush by a backfield in Week 1.
- The Browns converted 56.3% (9 of 16) of their third downs in Week 1 (third in the league) after a 29.5% rate in 2024 (dead last).
- The Browns have split the season series with Baltimore in four straight seasons.

Quarterback
Lamar Jackson: Jackson was incredible on Sunday night as once again this Baltimore offense looks to be a Death Star.
Jackson was 14 of 19 passing for 209 yards (11.0 Y/A) with a pair of touchdowns, adding 70 yards and a score on the ground.
Buffalo attempted to get aggressive as expected, but it didn’t matter.
Jackson faced man coverage on 44.4% of his dropbacks (third highest in Week 1) and was blitzed on 45.5% (second highest).
Jackson shredded their man coverage, going 6 of 8 for 12.6 yards per attempt with a touchdown.
When blitzed, he was 7 of 9 for 15.6 Y/A and a touchdown.
If you are going to play aggressively, you'd better get to the quarterback.
The only success that Buffalo had was when they got home.
When they did pressure Jackson, he was 2 of 5 for 42 yards while taking two sacks.
Jackson remains a front-end QB1, even putting respect on the Cleveland defense.
Baltimore has the highest team total on the slate this week.
The Browns played a great game defensively in Week 1 against the Bengals, pressuring Joe Burrow on 42.9% of his dropbacks (fourth).
Cleveland played Jackson aggressively in both matchups a year ago.
In the Week 8 matchup, they played man coverage 30.6% of the time.
In the Week 18 rematch, it was 65.9%.
They blitzed Jackson 34.1% of the time in the first game, and then 36.1% in the second matchup.
Cleveland played Jackson as tough as they could last year.
He only completed 55.7% of his passes against them for 7.2 Y/A.
In the context of his ridiculous season last year, that was as good as you could hope for.
That said, he still was the QB6 (24.2 points) and QB9 (23 points) for fantasy in those games.
Jackson threw multiple touchdowns in each game while rushing for 46 and 63 yards.
Joe Flacco: Flacco ended Week 1 as QB20 (12.2 points).
He threw 45 passes (fourth most in Week 1) but only managed 6.4 yards per pass attempt (18th) with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Neither turnover was his fault. Both Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman provided an assist on those picks.
Whether a product of all of the coverage and lack of blitzing the Bengals did in Week 1 or the game plan, Flacco was reined in.
He only averaged 5.9 air yards per attempt (26th) as the passing game operated on a high diet of throws to running backs and tight ends.
Flacco ended up throwing 4.4% of his passes 20 or more yards downfield, 29th in Week 1.
He targeted receivers on only 42.9% of his throws, ranking 27th in the league.
Flacco was a popular streamer last week, but this week he is a back-end QB2.
Cleveland always plays the Ravens well at least once per season, but this is a massive underdog with a subterranean team total.
The Ravens played sound pass defense until the game fell apart last week.
Through three quarters, they had held Josh Allen to 143 yards and only 5.7 yards per attempt.
Then in the fourth quarter, they were diced for 251 yards and 12.0 Y/A.
