Quarterback

Shedeur Sanders: Sanders has been the QB18 (10.3 points) and QB23 (10.6 points) in his first two career starts.

He completed 16 of 25 passes (64%) against the 49ers for 149 yards (6.0 Y/A) with a touchdown, a 34-yard completion to Harold Fannin.

While Sanders has not set the world on fire these past two weeks, Cleveland at least generated some big plays.

That was their fourth passing play of 30-plus yards over the past two weeks.

They had two 30-yard passing plays over their previous seven games.

Sanders is a 2QB option for fantasy purposes.

Facing an offense that has struggled even more than their own, Cleveland may not put much on the table for Sanders.

Cleveland has been conservative these past two weeks with Sanders, throwing the ball 7% and 12% below expectations.

While Sanders is throwing, the matchup is the best he has faced so far.

Tennessee has allowed a 69.1% completion rate (29th) for 7.9 yards per pass attempt (30th) and a 5.3% touchdown rate (24th).

Cam Ward: After having his two best fantasy outings in the previous two games against Houston and Seattle, Ward and this Tennessee passing offense showed their low floor again on Sunday.

Ward did complete 24 of 38 passes (63.2%) but for only 141 yards (3.7 Y/A) without a touchdown or interception.

Only 10.5% of his attempts resulted in a first down or touchdown, the worst rate for a passer in a game this season.

After rushing for 33 and 37 yards in the previous two games, Ward only ran once for 7 yards.

That was at home against the Jaguars, who were 24th in passing points allowed per game.

Ward will hit the road to face a Cleveland defense that has allowed 11.8 passing points per game (5th).

Ward has been sacked on 28.5% of his pressures, 32nd in the league.

The Browns are third in pressure rate (41.2%) and lead the NFL in sack rate (11.4%).

28.5% of the Cleveland pressures have resulted in sacks, the highest rate in the league.

The only quarterback who has a worse pressure-to-sack rate than Ward is Geno Smith (28.7%), who took 10 sacks against the Browns two weeks ago.

Ward is only an option for needy gamers in 2QB formats.
