Best NFL Week 6 Games to Bet On
NFL Week 6 has plenty of great games to choose from. We've selected two of the best games you can bet on and give our betting predictions.
Sunday | 1:00 PM ET | Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers (+3.5, O/U 49.5)
Everyone, get seated for the Rico Dowdle Revenge Game. The running back stepped up in Chuba Hubbard's absence last week by rushing for 206 yards against Miami in a 17-point comeback win for the Panthers. Dowdle rushed for over 1,000 yards with the Cowboys in 2024, but the team chose not to extend him to a new contract. He's been doing very little in Carolina as a backup to Hubbard, but he had the best game of his career when given the opportunity in Week 5, so let's see what he can do here.
You know the Cowboys will score their share of points, whether CeeDee Lamb plays or not. The Cowboys have scored at least 30 points in 3-of-4 games going into Sunda,y as quarterback Dak Prescott is playing some of his best football. He's throwing touchdowns to tight end Jake Ferguson again after he had a 23-game drought without one. George Pickens is grasping the offense and has scored in consecutive games. The offensive line is doing well, even with multiple stars out injured. Even the defense did a good job early in last week's game against the Jets before giving up some points in garbage time.
But it's a big opportunity for Carolina quarterback Bryce Young to step up at home. The Panthers are 2-0 this year against a Dallas defense that is limited with the pass rush after trading Micah Parsons to Green Bay. The Panthers also lack a pass rush, so this could be a high-scoring affair again, with the Cowboys favored on the road.
Monday | 7:15 PM ET | Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons (-4.5, O/U 49.5)
The Buffalo Bills (4-1) lost at home to the Patriots, snapping a 13-game home winning streak. They also lost the turnover battle after a record 26-game streak in which that never happened for the Bills. Josh Allen had only his second game with multiple turnovers since 2024, and he'll look to rebound on the road against the Falcons (2-2), who are coming off a bye week.
It's an interesting time for both teams for this game, as the Bills haven't played the most challenging schedule and have not looked the greatest on defense. The Falcons could use a win to stay in the NFC South race, and they offer a challenge to the Bills with Bijan Robinson, a dynamic back who already has multiple 100-yard receiving games in addition to his rushing dominance. He could be in store for a huge game, and the Bills will try to get their running back, James Cook, going after a quiet night against the Patriots.
Buffalo has generally been great at not losing two in a row, and the Bills are favored on the road here against an NFC opponent. But the Falcons have an improved pass rush, and we have seen Allen's sack rate rise a little these last few games as the Bills try to deal with turnover regression after committing so few negative plays in 2024. Meanwhile, the Falcons beefed up their pass rush to get more pressure, sacks, and turnovers, so it should be fun to see how Raheem Morris' defense steps up to the challenge of facing the Bills.
