Top NFL Week 7 Games to Bet On
The NFL Week 7 schedule has no shortage of quality games to bet on. Here are two of the best games you can wager on and unlock a sportsbook bonus.
Sunday | 1:00 PM ET | Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-11.5, O/U 45.5)
As it turns out, the Chiefs still play games on early Sunday afternoons. This is their first one in 2025, and it's also proof that Rashee Rice is real and back in this offense. We haven't seen him since Week 4 of the 2024 season due to a knee injury and a six-game suspension to start 2025. He was going to be Patrick Mahomes' new No. 1 receiver last year and was playing great before the injury. The Chiefs will be thrilled to get him back after they've already improved into an elite offense these last six weeks. Mahomes is the MVP favorite via the latest odds, and he leads all quarterbacks in total yards and touchdowns going into Week 7.
Adding Rice is unfair for the rest of the NFL, especially if he looks anything like he did before the knee injury. Meanwhile, the Raiders may be without tight end Brock Bowers again, which has burdened quarterback Geno Smith, who leads the NFL in interceptions thrown in his first year with the Raiders. Ashton Jeanty has been feast or famine in the ground game, though he did score another touchdown against the Titans last week as the Raiders got their first win since Week 1. But it's a tall task here on the road in Kansas City as a two-touchdown underdog.
However, in the Mahomes era, the Chiefs are 28-3 SU as a double-digit favorite. Two losses were at home to the Raiders in 2020 (40-32) and 2023 (20-14). Derek Carr had the game of his life in one, and the defense forced two turnovers into touchdowns in a 7-second span on Christmas 2023. You never know with division games, which is why we see so many underdogs covering this year in these spots. But the Chiefs are 0-3 in close games and have all their wins by at least 12 points, so they should try to make a statement here that they are the most dangerous team in the NFL with Rice back.
Monday | 10:00 PM ET | Houston Texans vs. Seattle Seahawks (-3, O/U 41)
In the final game of NFL Week 7, the Houston Texans (2-3) will try to get back to .500 after an 0-3 start following their bye week. But they have a tough test as the Seahawks (4-2) are playing excellent football between the defense of Mike Macdonald and the stellar play of Sam Darnold. He has turned Jaxon Smith-Njigba, a solid possession receiver in his first two years, into an All-Pro caliber stud with stats that Justin Jefferson (Vikings) would appreciate. JSN is averaging 116.0 yards per game, adding to Ohio State's reputation as an NFL wide receiver factory.
But this game has the potential to be a close one and a grind with both defensive coaches very good at what they do. The Texans get a lot of pressure and splash plays, and both of Seattle's losses this year came after late Darnold turnovers under pressure. He'll have to protect the ball well, and on the other side, Stroud will have to face a much better pass rush than what the Titans and Ravens were able to throw at him in the first two wins for Houston. But he played great in Baltimore, and the Texans had a bye week to get right after a poor start to the year.
An alarming stat for Macdonald is that he's 3-9 ATS at home since 2024. The Seahawks have long been a great home team, but things have not gone well during his tenure, even though the team is almost unbeatable on the road. We'll see if they can flip that script in a big game, with the NFC West a very realistic goal right now.
