Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason concludes with a Monday Night Football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Commanders.
Let’s preview this matchup with the best Monday Night Football prop bets and where to watch the game.
Bengals vs. Commanders NFL Preseason Betting Preview
After missing the playoffs the last two years, there is a lot of pressure on coach Zac Taylor to get the Bengals back in the tournament. They’ll need a better defense under new coordinator Al Golden, and things did not get off to a good start in last week’s 34-27 loss in Philadelphia, with backup Tanner McKee carving up the Bengals for 252 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
But fans are excited about first-round pick Shemar Stewart, the edge rusher who got himself in a little bit of a training camp brawl this week after accidentally clashing with Burrow on a play. They’ll need that kind of tenacity from the rookie as Trey Hendrickson’s contract situation remains up in the air.
The Commanders were rocked 48-18 in New England last week as Jayden Daniels and most of the starters didn’t play. The Commanders will hope to have success against a Cincinnati defense that they scored on every single drive in last year’s big regular season win.
- Bengals O/U regular season win total for 2025: 9.5
- Commanders O/U regular season win total for 2025: 9.5
Both teams are slightly favored to win double-digit games and make the postseason this year. If they treat this game as the final dress rehearsal before the regular season, it could be one of the biggest offensive spectacles of the week, so taking both team totals to go over could be smart Monday Night Football bets to place too.
