The 2025 NFL preseason draws to a close this Saturday with a loaded 10-game slate, headlined by Rams vs. Browns. We'll preview the games with our favorite NFL preseason bets.
Rams vs. Browns NFL Preseason Betting Preview
The Los Angeles Rams close their 2025 NFL preseason with a road game against the Cleveland Browns. The 8.5-point spread for Cleveland is the largest of the entire preseason, so you have to conclude that Shedeur Sanders is really moving the needle for everyone, as the rookie expects to play in this game, which will air on NFL Network.
The Browns have been stealing many preseason headlines for their quarterback situation. Joe Flacco was named the Week 1 starter for the regular season, but rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are in what is probably the most heated competition for a third-string quarterback job we've ever seen. Both played a decent game in August, though Gabriel got unjust criticism for a pick-six in Philadelphia, where his receiver ran the wrong route. But Sanders always gets a lot of attention, and coach Kevin Stefanski has said he will play this game.
In fact, the plan is to have Flacco and many starters play 20 or more snaps before Gabriel plays with the second team and Sanders closes in his first game in front of the Cleveland crowd, which should be very excited about this game.
As for the Rams, you're obviously not going to see Matthew Stafford throwing the ball to Puka Nacua or Davante Adams in this game. Coach Sean McVay generally doesn't play starters in August, and he's already gone with Stetson Bennett in the first two games with some success.
- Rams O/U regular season win total for 2025: 9.5
- Browns O/U regular season win total for 2025: 5.5
The Rams still have high expectations this season, hoping Stafford's herniated disc will hold up for the full season. Per the NFL betting odds, they're in a tight battle with the 49ers for the NFC West title. The Browns face an uphill battle in the AFC North, but they are looking like a team that could carry four quarterbacks—don't forget Kenny Pickett—which is a rarity in the NFL.

Other NFL Preseason Games to Bet On Today
There are many NFL preseason betting opportunities this Saturday with 10 games. Let's look at the other games today:
12:00 PM ET | Baltimore Ravens vs. Washington Commanders (+2.5, O/U 35.5)
The Ravens beat Dallas last week with ex-Cowboy Cooper Rush getting the job done at quarterback. Now they'll face the Commanders in the D.C. rivalry after Jayden Daniels looked sharp and explosive on Monday night against the Bengals.
1:00 PM ET | Indianapolis Colts vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5, O/U 35.5)
The Colts shocked and disappointed many fans by naming Daniel Jones the starter over Anthony Richardson this season. That sounds like a team that may be giving up on the young quarterback. The Bengals are giving up on Joe Burrow for at least the final preseason game as he'll take a seat. He took enough dangerous sacks on Monday night against Washington and has already gotten plenty of work this August.
1:00 PM ET | Houston Texans vs. Detroit Lions (-1.5, O/U 34.5)
The Texans' starters got in some solid work last week with C.J. Stroud throwing a touchdown pass to Nico Collins in a 20-3 win over Carolina. That passing connection will have to do a lot of heavy lifting for the team this year. The Lions fell 24-17 to the Dolphins at home, but the team has played much better after that ugly Hall of Fame Game loss to the Chargers.
1:00 PM ET | Denver Broncos vs. New Orleans Saints (+3.5, O/U 39.5)
Sean Payton returns to New Orleans after the teams executed a surprising trade this week when Denver sent tall wide receiver Devaughn Vele to the Saints. The Broncos have been dominant in the preseason, which could spell trouble for a New Orleans offense where the quarterback competition between Spencer Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough is still very much open.
4:00 PM ET | Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers (-3, O/U 37.5)
The Seahawks got some light work in for Sam Darnold last week in his team debut, a 33-16 win over the Chiefs where he was 4-of-4 for 34 yards. The Packers survived a 23-19 win in Indianapolis after getting some help from the officials on an overturned catch. Neither team is looking to go heavy snaps with starters in this one.
7:00 PM ET | Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins (-6, O/U 38.5)
The Jaguars blew a 17-3 lead in New Orleans last week and settled for a tie. Trevor Lawrence reportedly struggled in joint practices with the Dolphins this week, but Tua Tagovailoa is far more likely to get snaps as a starter in this game, where the Dolphins are one of the biggest favorites this week. Despite the chatter about coach Mike McDaniel's practice methods, Miami has played well in August.
7:00 PM ET | Buffalo Bills vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2.5, O/U 36.5)
The Bills were embarrassed in a 38-0 loss on Sunday Night Football in Chicago last week. They surrendered over 500 yards of offense in a game in which Josh Allen and the starters did not participate. The Buccaneers won in Pittsburgh on a last-second field goal, though the big story was wide receiver Jalen McMillan's scary neck injury that could cost him half of the regular season.
8:30 PM ET | Los Angeles Chargers vs. San Francisco 49ers (+2.5, O/U 35.5)
Justin Herbert played in the first preseason game of his NFL career last week, and it still ended with Quentin Johnston getting injured after dropping a pass. They should probably put Herbert in bubble wrap this week and let Trey Lance play most of the game. The 49ers also have a ton of wide receiver injuries to the point where they traded for Skyy Moore from the Chiefs. At least kicker Jake Moody redeemed himself with a 59-yard game-winning field goal against the Raiders last week.
10:00 PM ET | Las Vegas Raiders vs. Arizona Cardinals (+2.5, O/U 37.5)
Pete Carroll's Raiders gave up two field goals in the final 40 seconds of a 22-19 loss to the 49ers, but at least rookie back Ashton Jeanty showed some great highlights and scored his first NFL touchdown. The Cardinals had just 135 yards of offense against a tough Denver team in a 27-7 loss.
