Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Daniel Jones: We always knew that Jones had to come down to Earth to some degree after his blistering start.

That moment came on Sunday against the Rams, ending the week as QB27 (10.4 points).

It was not all bad for Jones as he completed 72.7% of his passes (24 of 33) for 7.9 yards per attempt.

He also lost out on a touchdown when Adonai Mitchell lost the ball through the end zone.

But Jones was not able to salvage his day, throwing a pair of interceptions and failing to add anything on the ground (1 rush for -1 yard).

The Rams were able to get after Jones, pressuring him on 45.7% of his dropbacks.

But when Jones was pressured, he went 12 of 14 for 181 yards (12.9 Y/A) with a touchdown.

It was his non-pressure dropbacks that did him in, going 12 of 19 for 81 yards (4.3 Y/A) with his 2 interceptions.

That was an outlier for him compared to the first three games, when he completed 79.4% of his passes for 10.1 Y/A from a clean pocket.

This is a good spot for Jones to bounce back as a QB1.

The Colts have one of the highest team totals of the week and are indoors at home.

The Raiders have played a bend, don’t break style of pass defense so far.

They are allowing 7.2 yards per pass attempt (22nd) but only a 3.8% touchdown rate (10th).

They have not allowed a wealth of fantasy points so far, holding Drake Maye (QB18), Justin Herbert (QB16), and Caleb Williams (QB24) to QB2 scoring in recent weeks.

The only quarterback they allowed to score a QB1 week was Marcus Mariota, who added 10 rushing points to his total.

That said, nothing here is scary on paper.

The Raiders are 23rd in pressure rate (32.9% of dropbacks).

They are using Cover 3 on a league-high 53.1% of defensive snaps.

Jones is averaging 11.3 yards per pass attempt against Cover 3 to open the year, second in the league.

Geno Smith: Smith has been a roller coaster to open the season, going from QB15 (17.5 points) to QB34 (3.2 points) to QB4 (26.1 points) to QB29 (9.8 points).

Smith was brutal in Sunday’s loss, throwing for only 117 yards (5.6 yards per pass attempt) and 3 interceptions against a Chicago defense that was struggling to slow down the pass coming in.

This game has the potential to be a high-scoring affair with the Raiders chasing points.

The Colts are not a defense that is imposing on paper, either.

Indianapolis is 26th in pressure rate (32.1%), which has been an issue for Smith.

When pressured, Smith has a 39.6 rating (29th), throwing for 6.1 Y/A with 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

He still has a league-high 4 interceptions from a clean pocket, but also is averaging 8.1 Y/A with all 6 of his touchdowns.

The Colts are 24th in passing points allowed per game (15.9) as another carrot for gamers going back to Smith as a boom-or-bust QB2.
