Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: We were waiting to see how the Eagles would operate following the commentary that stemmed from their come-from-behind win in Week 3.

With members of the offense (Hurts himself) being vocal about playing “not to lose,” the Eagles did come out aggressively on Sunday.

Philadelphia had a 71.4% dropback rate in the first half, which was fifth in the league last week.

Hurts was good on those dropbacks, connecting on 15 of 16 attempts for 130 yards (8.1 Y/A) with a pair of touchdowns, goal-line flips to Dallas Goedert.

The Eagles were up 24-6 at the half and then started to coast.

They had a 36.7% dropback rate in the second half (29th in the league).

When they did try to throw, it was a nightmare.

Hurts was 0 of 8 in the second half, taking 2 sacks.

We are one month into the season and have yet to see a full game of passing from this offense.

Hurts is last in the NFL with 152.3 passing yards per game.

This is a tough spot to bank on this being the week things turn on.

Denver has allowed a 57.5% completion rate (3rd), 6.4 yards per pass attempt (11th), and a league-low 1.5% touchdown rate.

The Broncos lead the league with a 47.1% pressure rate while ranking third in sack rate (10.1%).

Denver blitzes 34.4% of the time, ranking sixth in the league.

Under pressure this season, Hurts has completed 59.5% of his passes for 5.9 yards per pass attempt.

That will not significantly impact many decisions in seasonal leagues, as Hurts still offers rushing production and touchdown equity.

How you play him in DFS is what it comes down to.

Hurts is averaging 10.5 rushing points per game and already has 4 touchdowns.

He is running more this season as well.

Hurts has scrambled on 12.7% of his dropbacks, which would be his highest rate since his rookie season.

We are only three weeks removed from Denver allowing a top-five scoring week to Daniel Jones (22.8 points).

Hurts still has the same QB1 upside, but the matchup adds a layer of volatility.

Bo Nix: Nix took full advantage of a “get right” matchup at home against the Bengals.

He ended the week as the QB6 in weekly scoring (25.7 points).

Nix threw for a season-high 326 yards with 2 touchdowns, adding a rushing score to his totals.

When it comes to Nix, we have primarily been able to identify the spots we want to chase his ceiling and when we want to be cautious with him as a QB2.

This is the latter.

He has been one of the most matchup-dependent quarterbacks since the start of last season.

As a rookie, Nix had eight games against pass defenses at the front half of the league before his Week 18 matchup against the Kansas City backups.

Against those opponents, he averaged a QB18 finish in weekly scoring (14.5 points per game) with a high week of QB10.

Through four games this season, Nix has faced one defense in the front half of the league in passing points allowed, which was the Chargers.

Nix was QB16 (13.4 points) in that outing.

This will be his second matchup of that caliber this season.

The Eagles have allowed a 57.4% completion rate (2nd), 6.3 Y/A (9th), and a 3.7% touchdown rate (9th).

They have faced Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, and Baker Mayfield, allowing 12.1 passing points per game to those quarterbacks (11th).
