Quarterback
Bo Nix: Nix struggled again in London in Week 6, completing 19 of 30 passes (63.3%) for 174 yards (5.8 Y/A) with 1 touchdown pass.
Nix has thrown 1 or fewer touchdown passes in four of six games this season.
He is currently the QB21 in points per game (16.2).
Nix has thrown 30.1% of his passes at or behind the line of scrimmage, ahead of only Aaron Rodgers (33.3%) and Kyler Murray (35.4%).
Only 25.2% of his throws have been 10 or more yards downfield, ahead of only Justin Fields (25.1%) and Aaron Rodgers (24.6%).
When Nix has attempted those throws 10 or more yards downfield, he has completed 40.4% (21 of 52), which is 29th in the league.
It is hard to suggest Nix as more than a floor-based QB2 right now.
Denver is in a good position to play from ahead, but the Giants have shown some fight defensively.
The Giants are allowing 13.5 passing points per game, 11th in the league.
They have allowed only two QB1 weeks to Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts, while also facing Jayden Daniels, Patrick Mahomes, and Justin Herbert.
The Giants have spiked in pressure rate these past three weeks (37.7%).
When they have gotten pressure on the opposing passer, they have allowed a 63.5 rating (13th) with a 47.1% completion rate (12th).
The Giants are playing man coverage on 37.5% of their defensive snaps, second in the league behind the Browns.
Nix is averaging 5.9 yards per pass attempt against man coverage, 20th in the league.
Nix also only has a 2.6% scramble rate against man coverage compared to a 7.1% rate against zone coverage.
Jaxson Dart: Dart has opened his career with scoring weeks as QB10, QB20, and QB3.
He is coming off the best start of his early career on Thursday.
After throwing for 5.5 and 5.0 yards per pass attempt against the Chargers and Saints, Dart threw for 7.8 Y/A on Thursday.
He was 7 of 9 with 11.0 Y/A with six first downs on third down against the Eagles.
Dart also added 58 yards and a score on the ground.
He has rushed more than 50 yards in all three of his starts.
He joined Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts as the quarterbacks who ran for 50-plus yards in each of the first three starts of their careers.
As good as Dart has been and the viability he has shown to be an option in 1QB leagues, this is a spot where we are keeping him in QB2 territory.
The Giants are massive road underdogs with a pedestrian team total, facing the best defense in the NFL.
Denver leads the NFL in pressure rate (46.3%) and sack rate (13.7%).
When pressured, Dart has completed 45.8% (11 of 24) of his passes (23rd over the past three weeks) with a 22.6% sack rate (25th).
Denver is allowing 10.2 passing points per game, third in the league.
If looking for Dart to bail himself out of a tough matchup with his legs, Denver has been excellent against mobile quarterbacks.
They have held Daniel Jones (2 yards), Justin Herbert (6 yards), Jalen Hurts (3 yards), and Justin Fields (31 yards) all below their averages per game this season.
