Week 7 of the NFL DFS season has arrived, and it is time to win some big money using stacks.
While fantasy football stacks are becoming more prevalent in redraft leagues, the ability to stack players has always been one of the main strategic plays in daily fantasy.
This weekly article will focus on the best stack plays in a given week for DFS.
While these plays can apply to FanDuel and other daily fantasy sites, this article will focus primarily on DraftKings pricing.
What is stacking in DFS?
A fantasy football stack is when you take two or more players from the same team to double your chances of a big score if that team does well. This is a strategy that is especially useful in games with high over unders.
While you can stack a quarterback with a running back and or a tight end, we’ll be focusing on the best stacks available between a quarterback and his pass catchers.
What is most important when stacking in DFS?
What is most important to pay attention to, with or without stacking, is a player's cost and their ultimate output of points.
Ultimately, factoring in the elements of stacking players along with a strong return on investment on players' costs will put you in the best position to cash in this season.

Week 7 NFL DFS Stacks & Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel
Without further ado, here are some of the best DFS stack options for Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season:
QB Caleb Williams ($5,800) & WR Luther Burden ($4,300)
- Combined Price: $10,100 – 20.2% of lineup salary
Except for 12.8 points scored in Week 4, Caleb Williams has produced for fantasy.
With two games of 20 points scored and 19.9 last week, Williams is the QB12 on the season and averaging 20.8 points per game.
Under the direction of Ben Johnson, Williams will take his productive start into a game against the Saints.
Over the last three weeks, the Saints have allowed the third-most points to the quarterback position.
While they are allowing only 224.5 passing yards per game, they have allowed 14 touchdown passes, tied for the third-most in the league.
As of this writing, D.J. Moore has returned to practice.
Between his mysterious trip to the hospital after Monday night and his reported hip injury, his contributions for this week are uncertain.
With that in mind, instead of spending $6,600 on Rome Odunze, selecting Luther Burden and spending $2,300 less feels like the more intriguing option.
After having a 6% target share in his first four games, Burden had a 14% share last week.
Over the last four weeks, the Saints have been seventh in points allowed to wide receivers.
The last time Burden faced a worse opponent, he scored 22.8 points against the Cowboys.
QB Drake Maye ($6,300) & WR Stefon Diggs ($5,600)
- Combined Price: $11,900 – 23.7% of lineup salary
To be truthful, while it is not the sole reason, the Mike Vrabel revenge game narrative is playing a role in this selection.
More important is the emergence of Drake Maye as a serious fantasy option.
After averaging 14.1 points per game in his rookie season, Maye is now the QB5 with a per-game average of 21.1.
The Patriots quarterback is also coming off a strong Week 6 performance, during which he had 3 touchdown passes, marking just the second time in his career.
For as many faults as the Titans have, they have done well against quarterbacks in fantasy.
Entering Week 7, their defense has yet to allow an opposing quarterback to score 20 fantasy points.
In terms of who will help Maye get there, Patriots wide receivers can be a guessing game at times.
While his season started slowly, Stefon Diggs has averaged 17.5 points over the last three weeks.
Among Patriots wide receivers, Diggs leads in both yards per route run and first read targets share.
If you are looking for a cheaper play with a higher ceiling, Kayshon Boutte is priced at $4,600 this week.
Last week was the first week this season that the Titans allowed fewer than 20 points to wide receivers.
It should be noted that it was against a Raiders team that has been tied for the third fewest pass attempts over the last three games.
Maye will be the first quarterback to score 20 fantasy points against the Titans since Week 16 of last season.
QB Dak Prescott ($6,500) & WR George Pickens ($7,300)
- Combined Price: $13,800 – 27.6% of lineup salary
When evaluating who to invest in for your daily fantasy lineups, it is wise to look at the higher over-unders for the week.
With the Cowboys and Commanders having the highest total projected points, we will utilize Dak Prescott, who is $400 cheaper than Jayden Daniels.
One of the game’s main storylines is the return of CeeDee Lamb, and DFS players are taking notice.
Heading into this week, Lamb has a projected ownership of 30.8%, the highest at the wide receiver position.
While he will be worth the investment, spending $200 less and playing the hot hand who has a projected ownership of 8.1% (George Pickens) is once again a smart play.
Over the last three weeks, Pickens has scored 28.3 points per game, the highest at his position.
While the expectation is that the number will be lower with Lamb returning, Pickens has had an opportunity to get more comfortable with Prescott.
The per-game points will be closer to the last three weeks than the 11.9 Pickens had averaged in the first two weeks of the season.
Whomever is catching the ball from Prescott, the Cowboys quarterback is expected to continue his dominant play.
Prescott is one of four quarterbacks with at least four games of 20 points scored this season, and has been the QB2 over the last three weeks.
While Prescott has been hot as of late, he has also been hot when playing against the Commanders.
In his career against Washington, Prescott has averaged 21.1 points and has scored 20 or more points in 61.5% of his games against the team.
