Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Kenny Pickett: Pickett has yet to finish higher than QB20 so far during his run as a starter. The only passers to have fewer passing points per attempt this season than Pickett (0.185) have been Skylar Thompson, Brett Rypien, and Malik Willis.
To be fair to Pickett he has had a brutal run to start his career. His appearances so far have come against the Jets, Bills, Buccaneers, Dolphins, and Eagles. That’s about as tough as it gets for a player with a strong offensive structure and experienced passer, two things still working against Pickett.
Coming out of the bye Pickett draws a New Orleans defense that is 30th in the league in pressure rate (24.9%), 20th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.422), and 16th in passing points allowed per game (13.2). Pickett is still only an option for thin rosters in 2QB formats.
