Alabama Transfer Portal Tracker
Alabama Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Alabama Outgoing Transfers:
- DL Jehiem Oatis (Colorado)
- RB Justice Haynes (Michigan): Haynes saw consistent action back was the backup to Jam Miller in 2024. When accounting for box numbers and direction of the run, Haynes generated 16% more rushing yards than expected (ranked fifth in SEC). Miller generated 2.0% less yardage than expected, ranked 20th.
- OT Elijah Pritchett (Nebraska)
- CB DeVonta Smith (Notre Dame)
- WR Kobe Prentice (Baylor)
- EDGE Keanu Koht (Vanderbilt): Koht played a reserve role as a redshirt junior in 2024. His departure hurts the Tide's depth, but he was not going to challenge anyone for a starting role.
- QB Dylan Lonergan (Boston College)
Arizona Transfer Portal Tracker
Arizona Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Arizona Outgoing Transfers:
- CB Tacario Davis (Washington): The 6'4″ cornerback had a breakout 2023 campaign under current Washington head coach Jedd Fisch, but was one of many Wildcats to deliver a disappointing season in 2024.
- CB Emmanuel Karnley (Miami FL)
Arizona State Transfer Portal Tracker
Arizona State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Arizona State Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Arkansas Transfer Portal Tracker
Arkansas Incoming Transfers Commits:
- TE Jaden Platt (Texas A&M)
Arkansas Outgoing Transfers:
- OL Patrick Kutas (Ole Miss): Kutas missed most of the 2024 season with a back injury, but started 13 games for the Razorbacks over the last two seasons.
- TE Luke Hasz (Ole Miss)
- WR Jaedon Wilson (UCLA): Wilson started a few games in 2023 but left the Arkansas program last September after failing to win a starting job.
- QB Malachi Singleton (Arkansas): Singleton was a four-star recruit in the 2023 class and saw action in mop-up duty a few times last year for the Hogs. New Purdue coach Barry Odom was at Arkansas just prior to Singleton's arrival and likely has the connections to get the inside scoop. With Taylen Green returning, Singleton was going to have to wait at least one more year to see the field at Arkansas.
Auburn Transfer Portal Tracker
Auburn Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Jackson Arnold (Oklahoma): Arnold was a five-star prospect in the 2023 class but his first year as a starter at Oklahoma was a disaster. When facing pressure, Arnold took a sack 32% of the time, the third worst rate in the FBS. He'll get a chance to win the job at Auburn, but if he can't process faster, he won't last long.
- QB Ashton Daniels (Stanford): Daniels made 20 starts over the last two years and is a more polished quarterback than Arnold, even if his raw traits as a passer are less exciting. Daniels took a sack on just 15% of dropbacks versus pressure last year, ranked 37th. Daniels' weakness is his downfield passing ability, as he completed just 28% of his throws at 15 or more yards downfield (though Arnold was even worse at 26%).
- WR Eric Singleton (Georgia Tech): Singleton will compete to be Auburn's second option in the passing game behind Cam Coleman. Georgia Tech used Singleton's speed to stretch the field — 49% of his targets were at 10 or more yards downfield. However, he has been inconsistent as a pass-catcher, only hauling in 70% of his catchable targets at that depth. For comparison, Auburn's most frequent downfield weapon, KeAndre Lambert-Smith, caught 93% of his catchable targets at that depth.
- WR Horatio Fields (Wake Forest)
- OT Xavier Chaplin (Virginia Tech)
- OT Mason Murphy (USC)
- CB Raion Strader (Miami OH)
Auburn Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Walker White (Baylor): White was a four-star recruit in the 2024 class who was originally expected to be the favorite to win the job entering the 2025 season. However, playing quarterback for Hugh Freeze has become an openly toxic situation, so White bolted for a more stable situation.
Baylor Transfer Portal Tracker
Baylor Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Walker White (Baylor): White was a four-star recruit in the 2024 class. He will serve as the backup to Sawyer Robertson in 2025, before likely taking over the following season.
- WR Kobe Prentice (Alabama)
Baylor Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Boston College Transfer Portal Tracker
Boston College Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Dylan Longergan (Alabama): Lonergan was a four-star recruit in the 2023 class and was recruited by Eagles head coach Bill O'Brien, who was the Tide's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the time. Grayson James took over as the starter late in the 2024 season, but Lonergan will likely have an opportunity to compete for the job.
- WR VJ Wilkins (Campbell)
Boston College Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Thomas Castellanos (Florida State): Castellanos spent most of his two seasons with the Eagles as the starter after transferring from UCF. But those within the Boston College program are probably amused that a quarterback they benched late in the 2024 season will now likely be starting for Florida State.
- WR Jerand Bradley (Kansas State): Bradley transferred in from Texas Tech last offseason but failed to win a starting job.
California Transfer Portal Tracker
California Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Devin Brown (California): Brown was Will Howard‘s backup in 2024 and stuck with the team through the playoffs. He will likely begin the season as Cal's starter.
- QB Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele (California): This is a weird one, because Sagapolutele is a four-star recruit in the 2025 class who has already entered the portal. He will be a true freshman at Cal. The departure of quarterback Fernando Mendoza to Indiana likely played a role in convincing Sagapolutele to go compete for a job rather than serve as a backup to Dante Moore. The late addition of Brown makes Sagapolutele's path to the starting job more difficult, but he will likely take over in 2026 at the latest.
- WR Nyziah Hunter (Nebraska)
California Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Fernando Mendoza (Indiana): Mendoza delivered a passionate on-field interview after a win over rival Stanford last in the season and then was out the door a few weeks later. That rubbed a lot of Cal fans the wrong way, as his performance was giving the team hope for the first time in awhile. Cal hasn't won more than seven regular season games since coach Jeff Tedford was shown the door following the 2012 season.
Cincinnati Transfer Portal Tracker
Cincinnati Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Cincinnati Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Clemson Transfer Portal Tracker
Clemson Incoming Transfers Commits:
- EDGE Will Heldt (Purdue)
Clemson Outgoing Transfers:
- DL Tre Williams (Michigan)
Colorado Transfer Portal Tracker
Colorado Incoming Transfers Commits:
- DL Jehiem Oatis (Alabama)
Colorado Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Duke Transfer Portal Tracker
Duke Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Darian Mensah (Tulane): Mensah is coming off a fantastic season as a redshirt freshman at Tulane. He's a good athlete and can make some plays with his legs, but the passing game is his forte. Mensah completed 47% of his passes at 15 or more yards downfield last year, far above Maalik Murphy's 33% for Duke, per Sports Info Solutions. Expect a more well-rounded offensive attack from the Blue Devils in 2025 with Mensah.
- WR Andrel Anthony (Oklahoma)
Duke Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Maalik Murphy (Oregon State): Murphy started all 12 regular season games for Duke, helping the Blue Devils to a 9-3 record. However, he really struggled to develop as a downfield passer, completing just 39% of his throws at 10 or more yards downfield, ranked 121st.
Florida Transfer Portal Tracker
Florida Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Florida Outgoing Transfers:
- EDGE Jack Pyburn (LSU)
- CB Ja'Keem Jackson (LSU)
- EDGE T.J. Searcy (Texas A&M)
Florida State Transfer Portal Tracker
Florida State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Thomas Castellanos (Boston College): Castellanos beat Florida State last season while at Boston College and will now likely be the Seminoles starting quarterback. He originally started his career at UCF where FSU's new offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn was his head coach. Obviously Malzahn likes something about Castellanos, but you need to be a quick decision-maker to play in Malzahn's scheme and Castellanos never displayed those skills at Boston College.
- WR Squirrel White (Tennessee)
Florida State Outgoing Transfers:
- EDGE Patrick Payton (LSU): Payton was one of the few bright spots for Florida State last season. He generated a pressure rate of 10% or higher in each of his three seasons as a key member of the defense line rotation.
- QB Luke Kromenhoek (Mississippi State): Kromenhoek started the final two games of the season for Florida State as a true freshman. He was the fifth-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class.
- EDGE Marvin Jones Jr. (Oklahoma)
Georgia Transfer Portal Tracker
Georgia Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Georgia Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Carson Beck (Miami FL): Beck was a two-year starter at Georgia and was expected to leave for the NFL draft, so Georgia has already been planning on his departure. Gunner Stockton, who replaced an injured Beck in the playoffs, is expected to compete with Ryan Puglisi (a 2024 recruit) for the starting job.
- CB Julian Humphrey (Texas A&M)
- DL Jamaal Jarrett (USC)
Georgia Tech Transfer Portal Tracker
Georgia Tech Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
Georgia Tech Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Zach Pyron (Minnesota): Pyron was a three-year backup at Georgia Tech, making four career starts including two in 2024. Haynes King has another year of eligibility, so Pyron was not going to get a shot at starting for the Yellow Jackets until 2026.
- WR Eric Singleton (Auburn): Singleton was Georgia Tech's primary deep threat, accounting for 35% of the team's targets at 10 or more yards downfield.
- EDGE Romello Height (Texas Tech)
Houston Transfer Portal Tracker
Houston Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Conner Weigman (Texas A&M): Weigman was a five-star recruit who never panned out at A&M, but injuries played a role in his lack of development. Prior to a season-ending injury in 2023, he showed some promise as a downfield passer, completing an impressive 63% of throws of 10 or more yards, per Sports Info Solutions.
Houston Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Illinois Transfer Portal Tracker
Illinois Incoming Transfers Commits:
- DL James Thompson Jr. (Wisconsin)
Illinois Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Indiana Transfer Portal Tracker
Indiana Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Fernando Mendoza (California): Mendoza will take over for Kurtis Rourke. He's coming off a promising year at Cal, but there are still plenty of questions marks in his game. Indiana threw downfield at a high rate last season and Rourke's 74% catchable pass rate on throws of 15 or more yards ranked 14th. Mendoza ranked 82nd by the same metric. He also struggles under duress, ranking 120th in sack rate versus pressure — though that was a weakness of Rourke's also (ranked 137th).
- RB Roman Hemby (Maryland)
- TE Holden Staes (Tennessee)
Indiana Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Donaven McCulley (Michigan)
Iowa Transfer Portal Tracker
Iowa Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Mark Gronowski (South Dakota State): Gronowski is an FCS legend with two championship rings during his time as a four-year starter at South Dakota State, and he might bring some excitement to the quarterback position at Iowa for the first time in years. Gronowski rank for 1,767 and 37 touchdowns during his time with the Jackrabbits.
Iowa Outgoing Transfers:
- RB Leshon Williams (Kansas): Williams saw significant action in 2022 and 2023 but lost touches to Kaleb Johnson in 2024 and decided to redshirt after four games.
Iowa State Transfer Portal Tracker
Iowa State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Chase Sowell (East Carolina)
Iowa State Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Kansas Transfer Portal Tracker
Kansas Incoming Transfers Commits:
- RB Leshon Williams (Iowa): Williams saw significant action in 2022 and 2023 but lost touches to Kaleb Johnson in 2024 and decided to redshirt after four games. This is a drastic shift in scheme for Williams. During his last full season at Iowa, 79% of his carries were into a stacked box per Sports Info Solutions. Kansas running backs faced a stacked box on 53% of carries. When running into a light box in 2023, Williams averaged 5.3 yards per carry.
- LB Bangally Kamara (South Carolina): Kamara was a two-year starter at Pitt before transferring to South Carolina in 2024. He failed to win a starting job with the Gamecocks and decided to redshirt after four games. The Jayhawks lose all three starting linebackers to graduation, so Kamara will be expected to play a key role.
Kansas Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Kansas State Transfer Portal Tracker
Kansas State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Jerand Bradley (Boston College): Bradley was a starter Texas Tech in 2023 but failed to win a starting job at Boston College. The 6'5″ receiver will try to earn a role as a big-bodied deep threat for Avery Johnson.
Kansas State Outgoing Transfers:
- OT Carver Willis (Washington)
Kentucky Transfer Portal Tracker
Kentucky Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Zach Calzada (Incarnate Word): Calzada started 10 games for Texas A&M in 2021, including the Aggies' thrilling upset of Alabama. He then transferred to Auburn where he never saw the field before landing at Incarnate Word for two years. He's now back in the SEC and will likely start for Kentucky in 2025.
- DL David Gusta (Washington State)
- OT Alex Wollschlaeger (Bowling Green)
- EDGE Kameron Olds (Kent State)
- EDGE Mi'Quise Grace (South Dakota)
- RB Dante Dowdell (Nebraska)
- WR Kendrick Law (Alabama)
Kentucky Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Dane Key (Nebraska): This is a crushing blow to Kentucky's offense. Key accounted for 45% of the team's catches at 10 or more yards downfield last season.
- WR Barion Brown (LSU)
- DL Keeshawn Silver (USC)
- EDGE Tyreese Fearbry (Wisconsin)
Louisville Transfer Portal Tracker
Louisville Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Miller Moss (USC): Moss made nine starts for USC in 2024 before getting benched for the final three games. He played relatively well, however, and his benching was likely a desperation move by Lincoln Riley more than a direct result of Moss' play. On throws 10 or more yards downfield, Moss' 66% on-target rate ranked 15th in the country.
- OG Mahamane Moussa (Purdue): Moussa started every game at left guard for Purdue in 2025 and was the team's left tackle the previous two seasons under Jeff Brohm. Based on the Sports Info Solutions Total Points metric, he ranked 43rd out of 47 Big Ten guards in per snap value last season. Louisville lost left guard Michael Gonzalez to graduation, so Moussa will likely slide into that role.
Louisville Outgoing Transfers:
- OT Monroe Mills (Virginia)
- TE Jamari Johnson (Oregon)
LSU Transfer Portal Tracker
LSU Incoming Transfers Commits:
- EDGE Patrick Payton (Florida State): Payton is a talented pass-rusher, generating a pressure rate 10% or higher in each of the last three seasons. LSU is losing leading pass-rushers Sai'vion Jones and Bradyn Swinson to the NFL. Payton is a nice addition, but LSU already led the nation in pressure rate generated last season, so this move is about trying to maintain the status quo — actual improvements to the defense will have to come from other units.
- WR Nic Anderson (Oklahoma): Hamstring and quad injuries limited Anderson to just one game in 2024. The previous year, however, he showed promise as a deep threat, hauling in 83% of his catchable targets at 15 or more yards downfield while finishing second on the Sooners in receiving yards. The 6'4″ outside receiver should see plenty of downfield opportunities from Garrett Nussmeier in 2025.
- WR Barion Brown (Kentucky)
- CB Mansoor Delante (Virginia Tech)
- CB Ja'Keem Jackson (Florida)
- EDGE Jack Puburn (Florida)
- OL Braelin Moore (Virginia Tech)
- OL Josh Thompson (Northwestern)
- QB Michael Van Buren Jr. (Mississippi State): Van Buren made eight starts as a true freshman at Mississippi State last year. He will back up Garrett Nussmeier in 2025 and if he impresses in practice he'll have an opportunity to compete for the starting job in 2026.
LSU Outgoing Transfers:
- WR CJ Daniels (Miami FL)
- EDGE Da'Shawn Womack (Ole Miss)
Maryland Transfer Portal Tracker
Maryland Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Justyn Martin (UCLA): Martin was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class but made just one start in three seasons at UCLA. Martin will likely open the season as Maryland's starter, as his closest competition appears to be true freshman Malik Washington
- WR Jalil Farooq (Oklahoma)
Maryland Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Billy Edwards Jr. (Maryland): Edwards spent four years at Maryland, one as the starter. In 2024, he ranked 16th out of 17 Big Ten quarterbacks in completion rate at 10 or more yards downfield.
- RB Roman Hemby (Indiana)
Miami FL Transfer Portal Tracker
Miami FL Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Carson Beck (Georgia): This is one of the more shocking transfers of the cycle because Beck was widely expected to enter the NFL draft. He is dating Miami basketball player and social media star Hanna Cavinder, which could have played a role in his decision. The offense should look similar as it did with Cam Ward. Beck lacks Ward's mobility, but he does like to attack downfield at a high rate.
- DL David Blay (Louisiana Tech)
- WR CJ Daniels (LSU)
- CB Emmanuel Karnley (Arizona)
- CB Charles Brantley (Michigan State)
- S Zecharaiah Poyser (Jacksonville State)
Miami FL Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Michigan Transfer Portal Tracker
Michigan Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Mikey Keene (Fresno State): Keene has 34 career starts under his belt between Fresno State and UCF. He is likely a moderate upgrade over Michigan's quarterback situation in 2024, but Michigan really just wanted an experienced quarterback to help five-star true freshman Bryce Underwood. Ideally, Underwood is ready to play immediately and Keene serves as the veteran backup.
- RB Justice Haynes (Alabama): Haynes was the second option in Alabama's backfield last season but was effective when given opportunities. When accounting for box numbers and direction of the run, Haynes generated 16% more rushing yards than expected (ranked fifth in SEC).
- WR Donaven McCulley (Indiana)
- OL Dominick Giudice (Missouri)
Michigan Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Michigan State Transfer Portal Tracker
Michigan State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- OT Conner Moore (Montana State)
Michigan State Outgoing Transfers:
- CB Charles Brantley (Miami FL)
Minnesota Transfer Portal Tracker
Minnesota Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Zach Pyron (Georgia Tech): Pyron was a three-year backup at Georgia Tech with four career starts under his belt. Minnesota is likely hoping redshirt freshman Drake Lindsey wins the starting job, but Pyron will compete for the gig and gives the Gophers some experienced insurance if Lindsey doesn't rise to the challenge.
- WR Javon Tracy (Miami OH)
- WR Logan Loya (UCLA)
Minnesota Outgoing Transfers:
- OT Phillip Daniels (Ohio State)
- RB Jordan Nubin (Kent State)
- RB Sieh Bangura (Ohio)
Mississippi State Transfer Portal Tracker
Mississippi State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Luke Kromenhoek (Florida State): This is a huge get for Jeff Lebby and his staff. Kromenhoek was the fifth-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class and started the final two games of the year for Florida State. There's a chance Blake Shapen, who is returning from shoulder surgery, begins the 2025 season as the starter, but the future likely belongs to Kromenhoek.
- S Jahron Manning (Old Dominion): Manning was a JUCO transfer last year who immediately became the star of the Monarch's defense. Manning lined up both in the box and in the deep secondary and excelled in both roles. Expect him to immediately step into a starting role for the Bulldogs.
- DE Redd Hibbler (NC State): Hibbler was a key pass-rush specialist for the Wolfpack in 2023, leading the team's edge rushers with an 8.6% pressure rate. He failed to win a starting job in 2024, however, and decided to redshirt after four games. Mississippi State ranked 132nd in pressure rate, so Hibbler is a welcomed addition.
- RB Fluff Bothwell (South Alabama): Bothwell was a force as a true freshman at South Alabama, averaging 6.6 yards per carry (ranked sixth in FBS), including 4.3 yards after contact per attempt (ranked fourth). He has an impressive blend of power and speed, as he also generated 10 or more yards on 21% of his carries.
Mississippi State Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Michael Van Buren Jr. (Mississippi State): Van Buren made eight starts as a true freshman at Mississippi State last year, filling in for Blake Shapen after a season-ending injury. Shapen is returning in 2025 for his final year of eligibility.
- WR Kevin Coleman Jr. (Missouri)
- WR Mario Craver (Texas A&M)
- CB Brice Pollock (Texas Tech)
Missouri Transfer Portal Tracker
Missouri Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Beau Pribula (Penn State): Pribula was the backup to Drew Allar the last two seasons and saw consistent action in 2024 in certain packages as a runner, picking up 6.5 yards per carry, excluding sacks. It's an interesting addition since offensive coordinator Kirby Moore dialed back the use of quarterback runs when he took over in 2023. Brady Cook averaged 57.8 yards per game, excluding sacks, the year prior to Moore and then 37.1 and 33.3 during his two seasons with Moore.
- RB Ahmad Hardy (Louisiana-Monroe): Mizzou has been churning through portal running backs, but Hardy should stick around for awhile as he's coming off a breakout performance in his true freshman season. His production was impressive, considering the play of Monroe's offensive line — the Warhawks ranked 92nd in opponent-adjusted yards before contact generated.
- WR Kevin Coleman Jr. (Mississippi State)
Missouri Outgoing Transfers:
- EDGE Williams Nwaneri (Nebraska)
- EDGE Jaylen Brown (South Carolina)
Nebraska Transfer Portal Tracker
Nebraska Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Dane Key (Kentucky): The 6'3″ Key is a downfield weapon who is likely to be Dylan Raiola‘s primary target in 2025. In 2024, 60% of Key's targets were 10 or more yards downfield. He's the big-bodied downfield threat Raiola's needs to continue his development.
- WR Nyziah Hunter (California)
- EDGE Williams Nwaneri (Missouri)
- OT Elijah Pritchett (Alabama)
- LB Dasan McCullough (Oklahoma)
Nebraska Outgoing Transfers:
- EDGE Princewill Umanmielen (Nebraska): Umanmielen saw a reduction in playing time in 2024, but produced when given the chance, generating a 12.1% pressure rate. He likely would have played a significant role if he stayed in Lincoln in 2025.
- RB Dante Dowdell (Kentucky)
- EDGE James Williams (Florida State)
NC State Transfer Portal Tracker
NC State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- No notable transfers
NC State Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Kevin Concepcion (Texas A&M)
- DE Red Hibbler (Mississippi State): Hibbler was a key pass-rush specialist for the Wolfpack in 2023, leading the team's edge rushers with an 8.6% pressure rate. He failed to win a starting job in 2024, however, and decided to redshirt after four games.
North Carolina Transfer Portal Tracker
North Carolina Incoming Transfers Commits:
- LB Khmori House (Washington)
North Carolina Outgoing Transfers:
- OT Howard Sampson (Texas Tech)
Notre Dame Transfer Portal Tracker
Notre Dame Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Malachi Fields (Virginia)
- WR Will Pauling (Wisconsin)
- CB DeVonta Smith (Alabama)
Notre Dame Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Northwestern Transfer Portal Tracker
Northwestern Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Preston Stone (Northwestern): Stone was a breakout star in 2023 but lost the starting job to Kevin Jennings early in the 2024 season. If Stone plays up to the level he showed in 2023, he will be Northwestern's best quarterback since at least 2020, when Peyton Ramsey spent the final season of his career with the Wildcats.
Northwestern Outgoing Transfers:
- OL Josh Thompson (LSU)

Ohio State Transfer Portal Tracker
Ohio State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- OT Phillip Daniels (Minnesota)
- TE Max Klare (Purdue)
- RB CJ Donaldson (West Virginia)
Ohio State Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Air Noland (South Carolina): Noland was a true freshman at Ohio State and spent the year competing with Julian Sayin for the right to replace Will Howard. Both were top-10 quarterback prospects in the 2024 class, and it appears Sayin won the competition.
- QB Devin Brown (California): Brown was Will Howard‘s backup in 2024 and stuck with the team through the playoffs but was unlikely to beat out Sayin for the starting job in 2025.
Oklahoma Transfer Portal Tracker
Oklahoma Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB John Mateer (Washington State): Mateer is following his offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle to the Sooners. Mateer is an agent of chaos as a quarterback, in good and bad way. The biggest question is whether he can handle the significant step up in competition. Even against G5-level competition, Mateer was abysmal against pressure. When facing pressure, Mateer took a sack 31.4% of the time, ranked 141st out of 144 qualified quarterbacks.
- EDGE Marvin Jones Jr. (Florida State)
Oklahoma Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Nic Anderson (LSU): Hamstring and quad injuries limited Anderson to just one game in 2024. The previous year he was the team's primary deep threat, leading the team with 15 receptions at 15 or more yards downfield.
- OL Geirean Hatchett (Washington): Hatchett started the season opener for the Sooners but was injured in the game and lost for the year after undergoing surgery on his biceps. He was added to the roster last offseason as a transfer from Washington.
- QB Jackson Arnold (Auburn)
- LB Dasan McCullough (Nebraska)
Oklahoma State Transfer Portal Tracker
Oklahoma State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Hauss Hejney (TCU): Hejney (pronounced Hoss HAY-nee) was a four-star recruit in the class of 2024. He's a good athlete and appeared in four games, seeing a decent amount of action in the season finale in a package in which he was used to run the ball. He should be the favorite to win the starting job for the Cowboys.
- OL Kasen Carpenter (Tulsa): Carpenter was Tulsa's starting center in 2024 and has three years of eligibility remaining. He will likely replace Joe Michalski, who is graduating after starting at center the past two seasons.
Oklahoma State Outgoing Transfers:
- WR De'Zhaun Stribling (Ole Miss)
Ole Miss Transfer Portal Tracker
Ole Miss Incoming Transfers Commits:
- EDGE Princewill Umanmielen (Nebraska): Umanmielen was a two-year member of the Nebraska defensive line rotation but lost playing time through the 2024 season. His 12.1% pressure rate indicates he's capable of producing if given a larger role.
- OL Patrick Kutas (Arkansas): Kutas missed most of 2024 with a back injury, but has starting experience at guard, tackle and center and will start somewhere on the Ole Miss offensive line in 2025, likely at guard.
- TE Luke Hasz (Arkansas)
- WR De'Zhaun Stribling (Oklahoma State)
- EDGE Da'Shawn Womack (LSU)
- WR Deuce Alexander (Wake Forest)
Ole Miss Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Oregon Transfer Portal Tracker
Oregon Incoming Transfers Commits:
- S Dillon Thieneman (Purdue)
- OT Isaiah World (Nevada)
- OT Alex Harkey (Texas State)
- DL Bear Alexander (USC)
- TE Jamari Johnson (Louisville)
- RB Makhi Hughes (Tulane): Hughes is a physical runner who averaged 3.6 yards after contact per attempt last year, gaining 64% of his yardage after contact. He wasn't particularly explosive, however, so Oregon is hoping more room to run behind its offensive line will unlock more big plays from Hughes in Will Stein‘s offense.
Oregon Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele (California): This is a weird one, because Keawe Sagapolutele is a four-star recruit in the 2025 class who has already entered the portal. The departure of Cal quarterback Fernando Mendoza to Indiana likely played a role in convincing Keawe Sagapolutele to go compete for a job rather than serve as a backup to Dante Moore.
Penn State Transfer Portal Tracker
Penn State Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Kyron Hudson (USC)
Penn State Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Beau Pribula (Penn State): Pribula was the backup to Drew Allar the last two seasons and saw consistent action in 2024 in certain packages as a runner, picking up 6.5 yards per carry, excluding sacks.
Purdue Transfer Portal Tracker
Purdue Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Malachi Singleton (Arkansas): Singleton was a four-star recruit in the 2023 class and saw action in mop-up duty a few times last year for the Hogs. New Purdue coach Barry Odom was at Arkansas just prior to Singleton's arrival and likely has the connections to get the inside scoop and clearly liked what he heard. Singleton is the heavy favorite to win the starting job this fall.
Purdue Outgoing Transfers:
- S Dillon Thieneman (Oregon)
- TE Max Klare (Ohio State)
- OG Mahamane Moussa (Louisville): Moussa started every game at left guard for Purdue in 2025 and was the team's starting left tackle the previous two seasons.
Rutgers Transfer Portal Tracker
Rutgers Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR DT Sheffield (North Texas)
Rutgers Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
South Carolina Transfer Portal Tracker
South Carolina Incoming Transfers Commits:
- EDGE Jaylen Brown (Missouri)
- RB Rahsul Faison (Utah State): Faison was a two-year starter at Utah State and will take over for Rocket Sanders. He's not as physical as Sanders, but he is more explosive. Faison gained 10 or more yards on 15% of his carries last season.
- QB Air Noland (South Carolina): Noland was a true freshman at Ohio State and spent the year competing with Julian Sayin for the right to replace Will Howard. Both were top-10 quarterback prospects in the 2024 class, and it appears Sayin won the competition. He will now sit for a year behind LaNorris Sellers, before likely taking over at South Carolina (if Sellers turns pro) or possibly transferring again to find a starting job.
South Carolina Outgoing Transfers:
- LB Bangally Kamara (Kansas): Kamara was added from Pitt in last year's portal cycle but did not win a starting job and decided to redshirt after four games.
- QB Robby Ashford (South Carolina): Ashford served as Sellers' backup in 2024, starting one game against Akron.

SMU Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Preston Stone (Northwestern): Stone was a breakout star in 2023 but lost the starting job to Kevin Jennings early in the 2024 season.

Stanford Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Ashton Daniels (Auburn): Daniels made 20 starts over the last two seasons for the Cardinal. He was going to face competition from redshirt-freshman Elijah Brown if he stayed in Palo Alto.
Syracuse Transfer Portal Tracker
Syracuse Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Rickie Collins (LSU): Collins was a four-star recruit in the 2023 class who never saw any meaningful action in two years at LSU. He should compete for the starting job at Syracuse with 2024 three-star recruit Jakhari Williams.

TCU Transfer Portal Tracker
TCU Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR Jordan Dwyer (Idaho)
TCU Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Hauss Hejney (TCU): Hejney (pronounced Hoss HAY-nee) was a four-star recruit in the class of 2024. He's a good athlete and appeared in four games, seeing a decent amount of action in the season finale in a package in which he was used to run the ball. But Josh Hoover has two years to eligibility remaining, so there was little chance of Hejney ever starting at TCU.

Texas A&M Incoming Transfers Commits:
- WR KC Concepcion (NC State)
- WR Micah Hudson (Texas Tech)
- WR Mario Craver (Mississippi State)
- EDGE T.J. Searcy (Florida)
- QB Jacob Zeno (UAB): Zeno likely serves as the backup to Marcel Reed in 2025, though he may be given an opportunity to compete for the starting job in camp as Reed still must show some development as a passer. Zeno is a good athlete and has made 17 career starts, making him an ideal backup for Reed.
Texas A&M Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Conner Weigman (Houston): Weigman showed some promise as the Aggies starter in 2023 prior to a season ending injury. He struggled in 2024, however, and wasn't a great fit for Collin Klein‘s offense, which requires a quarterback who can be a threat with his legs and eventually lose the job to Marcel Reed.
- TE Jaden Platt (Arkansas)
Texas Tech Transfer Portal Tracker
Texas Tech Incoming Transfers Commits:
- OT Hunter Zambrano (Illinois State): Zambrano was one of the top FCS players in the portal. He made 27 career starts at left tackle but missed most of the 2024 season with a him injury. The Red Raiders used three starters at left tackle in 2024, so Zambrano may be able to provide some stability at the position.
- S Cole Wisniewski (North Dakota State): Wisniewski was a first-team FCS All-American in 2023 but missed the 2024 season due to foot surgery. He has one year of eligibility remaining and will likely be one of the top defenders on the Red Raiders defense in 2025.
- RB Quinten Joyner (USC): Joyner served as the backup to Woody Marks but was equally effective when given opportunities. He looks like an ideal replacement for Tahj Brooks, as a physical runner who can also produce in the passing game. The 216-pound Joyner averaged 5.9 yards per attempt when running into a stacked box last year — Brooks averaged 4.5 for the Red Raiders.
- CB Dontae Balfour (Charlotte): Balfour spent two years at North Carolina before transferring to Charlotte where he started for the last two seasons. He generated a strong 26% ball-hawk rate last season, per Sports Info Solutions. As a team, Texas Tech ranked 124th in ball-hawk rate.

UCLA Transfer Portal Tracker
UCLA Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Joey Aguilar (Appalachian State): Aguilar was a two-year starter at App State, but the production didn't exactly indicate he's ready to start in the Big Ten. Aguilar ranked 13th in the Sun Belt in interception rate, and 10th in completion rate at 15 or more yards downfield. He will likely compete for the starting job with Dermaricus Davis, a four-star recruit from the 2024 class.
- WR Jaedon Wilson (Arkansas): Wilson started a few games in 2023 but left the Arkansas program after just one game last fall. The 6-foot-3 receiver is a former three-star recruit who should compete for a starting job with the Bruins.
UCLA Outgoing Transfers:
- WR J.Michael Sturdivant (Florida)
- WR Logan Loya (Minnesota)
- QB Justyn Martin (UCLA): Martin was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class but made just one start in three seasons at UCLA. Martin likely did not have a path to the starting job at UCLA due to the addition of Aguilar and the presence of Davis.
USC Transfer Portal Tracker
USC Incoming Transfers Commits:
- DL Keeshawn Silver (Kentucky)
- DL Jamaal Jarrett (Georgia)
USC Outgoing Transfers:
- QB Miller Moss (USC): Moss made nine starts for USC in 2024 before getting benched for the final three games. He played relatively well, however, and his benching was likely a desperation move by Lincoln Riley more than a direct result of Moss' play. On throws 10 or more yards downfield, Moss' 66% on-target rate ranked 15th in the country.
- WR Zachariah Branch (Georgia)
- WR Duce Robinson (Florida State)
- WR Kyron Hudson (Penn State)
- OT Mason Murphy (Auburn)
- DL Bear Alexander (Oregon)
- RB Quinten Joyner (Texas Tech(
Utah Transfer Portal Tracker
Utah Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Devon Dampier (New Mexico): This could be a program-altering addition for Utah, which appears to be transitioning out of the slow-paced, ground-and-pound offense that had gotten stale. Dampier joins his offensive coordinator Jason Beck at Utah after the duo helped lead a New Mexico offense that ranked 21st in pace of play last year. Dampier is still developing as a passer but averaged 98.7 rushing yards per game (excluding sacks) for Lobos in 2024.
- RB Wayshawn Parker (Washington State): Parker was productive as a true freshman starter for the Cougars last year. He's less physical than typical Utah running backs under Kyle Whittingham and averaged just 2.9 yards after contact per attempt last year (ranked 115th), but Utah might be modernizing the offense in 2025.
Utah Outgoing Transfers:

Vanderbilt Transfer Portal Tracker
Vanderbilt Incoming Transfers Commits:
- EDGE Keanu Koht (Alabama): Koht spent four years at Alabama and started to see the field with some consistency for the first time in 2024 in a reserve role. Presumably, he's transferring to Vanderbilt to compete for a starting job, which was unlikely at Alabama.
Vanderbilt Outgoing Transfers:
- No notable transfers
Virginia Transfer Portal Tracker
Virginia Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Chandler Morris (North Texas): Morris has spent time at Oklahoma, TCU and North Texas, spending the 2024 season as the starter for the Mean Green. Virginia likely targeted an experienced veteran in an effort to save Tony Elliott‘s job — he's posted three straight losing seasons and the seat is hot entering 2025.
- OT Monroe Mills (Louisville)
- WR Jahmal Edrine (Purdue)
Virginia Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Malachi Fields (Notre Dame)
- QB Anthony Colandrea (UNLV): Colandrea showed some promise during his two years with the Hoos, but he wasn't guaranteed a starting job moving forward, as Virginia likely wanted to install a veteran to bring more stability to the position in 2025.

Wake Forest Transfer Portal Tracker
Wake Forest Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Deshawn Purdie (Charlotte): Purdie started six games at Charlotte as a true freshman in 2024. He'll compete with Ashford for the starting job this fall.
- QB Robby Ashford (South Carolina): Ashford spent two years at Auburn before serving as the backup at South Carolina last year. He has starting experience (11 games), though he is more of a runner than a passer.
- OT Fa'alili Fa'amoe (Washington State)
Wake Forest Outgoing Transfers:
- WR Horatio Fields (Auburn)
- WR Deuce Alexander (Ole Miss)
Washington Transfer Portal Tracker
Washington Incoming Transfers Commits:
- CB Tacario Davis (Arizona): The 6'4″ cornerback had a breakout 2023 campaign under current Washington head coach Jedd Fisch, but was one of many Wildcats to deliver a disappointing season in 2024. Davis' impressive 38% ball-hawk rate in 2024 dropped to a dismal 17% this past season.
- OL Geirean Hatchett (Oklahoma): Hatchett spent four years at Washington before transferring to Oklahoma for the 2024 season. He started the season opener for the Sooners but was injured in the game and lost for the year after undergoing surgery on his biceps. He was mostly a reserve lineman in his first run with the Huskies but started four games at right guard in 2023. The Huskies are losing starters at both guard and center, and Hatchett should be in line for one of those jobs.
- WR Johntay Cook II (Texas)
- OT Carver Willis (Kansas State)

Wisconsin Transfer Portal Tracker
Wisconsin Incoming Transfers Commits:
- QB Billy Edwards Jr. (Maryland): Edwards spent four years at Maryland, one as the starter. In 2024, he ranked 16th out of 17 Big Ten quarterbacks in completion rate at 10 or more yards downfield. He appears to be the favorite to start for the Badgers in 2025 — bleak statement on the state of Wisconsin football.
- TE Tanner Koziol (Ball State)
- WR Mark Hamper (Idaho)
- EDGE Tyreese Fearbry (Kentucky)
Wisconsin Outgoing Transfers:
- DL James Thompson Jr. (Illinois)
