Biggest NFL Week 17 Injuries:
Amon-Ra St. Brown Injury Update
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown went down with an apparent knee injury late in the Lions' loss to the Vikings on Christmas Day.
St. Brown came down awkwardly attempting to make a catch, with his leg seemingly getting caught underneath him as he fell to the ground.
He was questionable for the game due to a knee injury, but it is unclear whether he aggravated that injury or if this is a new issue.
With the Lions eliminated from the playoffs, it would not be a surprise if St. Brown's season is over even if the knee injury ends up being minor.
Javonte Williams Injury Update
Cowboys RB Javonte Williams suffered a shoulder injury against the Commanders on Christmas Day.
Williams rushed 13 times for 54 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game.
Malik Davis worked as the lead back with Williams sidelined, going over 100 yards on his 20 attempts.
With the Cowboys out of playoff contention, they could choose to shut down Williams even if his shoulder injury is not serious.
Jake Ferguson Injury Update
Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson did not play in the second half on Thursday because of a calf injury.
Ferguson only caught 1 pass before leaving, but it was a six-yard touchdown.
Both Brevyn Spann-Ford and Luke Schoonmaker saw targets with Ferguson sidelined.
Other Notable Week 17 Injuries
- Commanders C Tyler Biadasz suffered knee and ankle injuries against the Cowboys on Thursday.
- The Lions lost even more defenders on Thursday, with LB Alex Anzalone and S Thomas Harper leaving with concussions.
