Motivation or Rest Alert
The Chargers are in the postseason, but still can be either the No. 5 seed (with a win or Ravens loss) or the No. 6 seed (with a loss and Ravens win). The difference between the No. 5 seed versus the No. 6 seed is facing the AFC South winner. Brandon Staley has said the team will push for the No. 5 seed, but with the Ravens game at 1PM ET, the team will know what they need prior to kickoff. We should expect the Chargers to prep for the starters playing, but if the Ravens do lose in the early slate, those starters for Los Angeles could have abbreviated appearances.
The Broncos have been eliminated from the postseason.
