Every Sunday in the weekly fantasy chats, I get asked about my favorite plays of the week or who is in my player pool that weekend for DFS.

This article series covers exactly that.

Every week, I will go through the players I am targeting to play in DFS for all games, tournaments, and game stacks.

The idea is that this will paint a clearer picture of framing lineups.

Week 13 DFS Content:

Week 14 DFS Picks
Core Plays
Tournament Picks
Best Game Stacks

Our core players are the players we will have the most exposure to at their positions.

They can be played in cash games and tournaments.

I will analyze the player selections and game writeups, but for a detailed breakdown of the players and games, check out the Week 13 Worksheet.

Quarterback

Justin Herbert ($5,600/$7,900)

Herbert is too cheap for his recent output, the banged-up backfield, and the matchup.

He has five consecutive weeks he ended as a QB1 scorer.

Herbert has averaged 5.9 rushing points per game over his five games after scoring 3.4 rushing points in total in Weeks 1-7.

Atlanta has allowed 28.1 rushing points per game to quarterbacks, 27th in the league.

The Falcons are 31st in the league regarding pressure rate (26.5%).

They are 22nd in passing points allowed per attempt (0.465) and 28th in passing points allowed per game (15.8).

Atlanta has allowed front-end QB1 weeks to Derek Carr (20.5 points) and Bo Nix (28.8 points) in their past two games and has allowed over 20 fantasy points in four straight games to quarterbacks.

77.8% (21-of-27) of the touchdowns allowed by the Falcons have been passing, the second-highest rate in the league.

Baker Mayfield ($6,600/$8,500)

Mayfield has been a top-10 scorer in 8-of-11 games and has finished lower than QB13 just twice.

He rolls right into another great matchup this weekend.

Carolina is dead last in the league regarding pressure rate (22.2%).

When they have not gotten pressure, they have allowed a 75.8% completion rate (28th), 8.0 yards per pass attempt (25th), and a 5.7% touchdown rate (30th).

When Mayfield has not been pressured, he has completed 73.3% of his passes (11th) for 7.7 Y/A (15th) and a 7.3% touchdown rate (3rd).
