The one consistent thing with the Saints’ offense is that they have tried to hide their passing game. Winston has just 20, 22, and 21 pass attempts. 54.4% of Winston’s fantasy points have come from passing touchdowns as he leads the NFL with an 11.1% touchdown rate. Winston has thrown 4.6 more touchdown passes than expectation, the most in the league.
The Giants are allowing a 75.4% completion rate (31st), but are allowing 7.1 yards per target (14th) and 9.5 yards per completion (third). If the Saints want to play ball control and keep Winston reined in, this is the projected script to do so, keeping Winston as a back-end QB2.
