  • The Jaguars are 5-0 this season as a favorite, the only remaining team undefeated when favored.
  • Jacksonville has converted 66.7% (18 of 27) of their red zone trips into touchdowns since their Week 8 bye, 5th in the league. They had converted 50% (11 of 22) before the bye, 22nd in the league.
  • The Jaguars have allowed 4.6 yards per play since their bye (7th) after allowing 5.5 yards per play prior (23rd).
  • 46.3% of the Jets' drives have failed to gain a first down over the past five weeks, the highest rate in the league.
  • The Jets have converted 33.3% (4 of 12) of their red zone trips into touchdowns over their past five games, the lowest rate in the league.
  • Jacksonville is allowing 1.64 points per drive at home, 8th in the league.
  • The Jets allow 2.69 points per drive on the road, 31st in the league.
  • The Jets are the only team in the league that has not run an offensive play up double-digits at any point this season after Tennessee snapped that last week.
  • The Jets have run a league-high 346 offensive plays down double digits.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Trevor Lawrence: Lawrence kept up his solid fantasy production Sunday in the rain against the Colts.

He ended the week as the QB10 (19.4 points).

Lawrence has been a QB1 scorer in four straight games and the QB14 or higher in eight of his past nine games.

He is the QB9 in points per game (18.6) over that span.

Lawrence has thrown for at least 8.0 yards per pass attempt in three straight games, just the second time in his career he has done that.

He has never gone four straight games.

He has also thrown multiple touchdown passes in three straight games.

Lawrence will have a good shot to stay in play as a QB1 here for as long as the Jaguars are throwing.

Jacksonville has their highest implied team total of the season.

The Jets are 27th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.488), but have faced just 29.2 passes per game (5th fewest) since they are so outright bad as a team.

The Jaguars have had a 50.8% dropback rate since their Week 8 bye (30th).

Jets QB: Aaron Glenn has not named a starting quarterback yet this week, so we will have to wait for some practice reports to tip us off early on who could be under center on Sunday.

Tyrod Taylor left last week’s game after one drive due to a groin injury.

Justin Fields was inactive due to a knee injury (or an allegedly neglecting wanting to serve as a wildcat quarterback), which pushed Brady Cook into his first NFL action.

Coming in cold for his first appearance, Cook was 14 of 30 (46.7%) for 163 yards (5.4 Y/A) with 2 interceptions (2.5 points).

For fantasy purposes, Cook would be the least appealing option if given a runway to start, but this is a pretty rough spot for any of the options.

Fields and Taylor at least come with mobility to serve as floor-based QB2 options, but the Jets are massive road underdogs against a Jacksonville defense that is not only hot but has played better at home.

Over the past four weeks, Jacksonville has a 37.8% pressure rate (11th) and an 8% sack rate (9th).

They are allowing 5.2 yards per pass attempt (3rd) over that span with 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions.

They have had a softer run against Riley Leonard and Cam Ward the past two weeks, but that also includes erasing Justin Herbert (3.3 points) and even holding Jacoby Brissett to 1 touchdown pass and 6.5 yards per attempt.

Even if throwing a grain of salt based on their opponents, there is not much difference in their opponent here compared to their recent run.
