NFL Showdown is not about who you play as much as how you play them.

Median projections are a tool in the toolbox, but they are to be trusted far less than they would be on the main slate. This is because of the large ramifications associated with a single player underproducing or overproducing relative to their projection.

The most likely outcome is only one of infinite outcomes.

When ownership dictates that the field has the game figured out, lean into builds around a different scenario.

The term “any given Sunday” should be the mantra for successfully building Showdown lineups.

Slate Breakdown

The Dallas Cowboys are heading to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers as 1.5-point favorites. The total is set at a whopping 51 points.

Either team can create offensive fireworks, but the Chargers have been the more consistent unit.

Under Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys have shown flashes of greatness but have not yet put together a complete game.

Pricing will push most builds to favor Dallas, but it is worth forcing in Los Angeles.

Injury Notes

  • Joshua Palmer – Groin – Likely to play
  • Donald Parham – Wrist – Likely to play

Dallas Cowboys Offense

Tier 1 DFS Showdown Plays:

Tony Pollard $9,600 –

Pollard’s production has been disappointing for most of the season, but his snap share remains elite. He’s handled double-digit carries in all but one game and is averaging over four targets. He’s the safest way to get exposure to Dallas’ offense.
