Divisional Round DFS Picks
Quarterback
Jared Goff $6,300
With DraftKings doing such a great job with 1uarterback pricing, it throws a wrinkle in the whole slate. When choosing which team to stack, it helps to first look at the totals. The Lions have the second-highest projected team total and play in the healthiest game environment. With Kalif Raymond expected to sit, Goff’s target tree gets a bit more projectable. Goff is no stranger to the 300-yard-bonus, having hit it five times this season. This makes him competitive for the slate’s top score, even over the likes of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.
Josh Allen $8,000
When looking to spend up at quarterback, Allen stands out. He projects similarly to Patrick Mahomes, who is less expensive, but Allen has a much easier path to a ceiling performance. The temperature is expected to be near zero once again, but it didn’t seem to affect Allen last week. With a plethora of stacking options to choose from, it shouldn’t be difficult to create a unique lineup with Allen at the helm.

Running Back
Christian McCaffrey $8,800
This week, McCaffrey is the type of player you either have 100% of or 0% of. He’s expected to carry a roster percentage of around 50%. He’s the slate’s highest projection by over two points, and he’s in the perfect game environment for a workhorse running back. He can be played as part of a stack with Purdy, who will likely be the highest-rostered quarterback. He could also be played alone as leverage over Purdy in hopes that he scores multiple rushing touchdowns.
Jahmyr Gibbs $6,600
Gibbs is set up well in a great game environment as a 6.5-point home favorite in a dome with a high total. He also happens to have the lowest projected roster percentage amongst all starting backs. The main argument against Gibbs is David Montgomery’s usage. Last week Montgomery scored, and Gibbs still earned 12 opportunities and scored a touchdown of his own. He can also be stacked with Goff.
Aaron Jones $6,700
Jones has been the focal point of the Packers offense since returning from injury. He’s averaging 21 carries and 119 yards in his last four games. He’d easily be the best play on the entire slate if not for his opponent. The 49ers’ defensive front may be scary, but not scary enough to fade Jones’ usage with a projected roster percentage under 25%.
Wide Receiver
Mike Evans $7,200
Evans is in a smash spot, yet he’s projected for nearly a third of the roster percentage of his peers. Mayfield should have no problem finding success through the air against Detroit, and Evans will be on the receiving end of nearly 30% of his attempts. He’s also direct leverage against the more popular $7,000 options in Rashee Rice and Nico Collins, who are both in objectively worse game environments.
Stefon Diggs $7,000
This play is easier to poke holes in than it is to support, but the points in favor far outweigh the points against. Diggs has looked “off,” and we now know he’s dealing with a foot injury. This has resulted in his projected roster percentage hovering around 10% despite Allen being one of the slate’s most popular quarterbacks with the easiest path to a ceiling performance. If Allen is the slate optimal quarterback, there’s a strong possibility that he will bring Diggs along with him. Diggs earned a healthy target share last week and wasn’t far off of the 100-yard-bonus in similar conditions.
Brandon Aiyuk $6,900
Purdy is going to be very popular, but Aiyuk’s roster percentage is south of 20%. Deebo Samuel and McCaffrey demand a ton of attention, both from their quarterback and from the opposing defense. This is not necessarily a bad thing for Aiyuk, who has hit the 100-yard-bonus an incredible seven times this year. He’s certainly a boom-or-bust option, but the risk outweighs the reward.
Tight End
Travis Kelce $6,000
Kelce’s performance was uninspiring last week, as he dropped multiple passes and failed to reach the endzone. He was still targeted 10 times resulting in 7 catches for 71 yards. He will be the focal point of the Chiefs’ offense throughout the playoffs, and his roster percentage will likely be lower than we’ve seen for him all season.
Sam LaPorta $5,900
The Lions are the toughest code to crack for this slate. Their top three receivers all project for roster percentages nearing 30%, yet their running backs and their top tight end seem to be forgotten. LaPorta’s low roster percentage is likely due to his price at just $100 less than Kelce, but he’s an excellent contrarian stacking option for Goff.
Dalton Kincaid $4,800
Kincaid is another tight end who is failing to make it into a ton of their quarterbacks’ stacks. Especially with Gabe Davis out, Kincaid will maintain strong volume in an above-average matchup.
