Every week, I get asked about my favorite plays of the week or who is in my player pool that weekend for DFS.

This article series covers exactly that.

In the three articles linked below, I will go through the players I am targeting to play in DFS for all games, tournaments, and game stacks.

The idea is that this will paint a clearer picture of framing lineups.

It is not that tournament players cannot be used in cash games.

If a player here works out for your team structure in cash games surrounding your primary core, use them.

These are just the players who come with some element of inherent risk but are the primary players I still want to be ahead of the field compared to the percentage of rosters they are projected to make this weekend.

Quarterback

Baker Mayfield ($7,000/$8,400)

Since returning from the bye in Week 12, Mayfield leads the league with 9.1 yards per pass attempt.

He has thrown 15 touchdown passes over those six games, punctuated by 5 passing scores on Sunday.

Tampa Bay has everything to play for on Sunday. The Buccaneers need a win to secure the NFC South and a trip to the postseason.

When these teams hooked up in Week 6, Mayfield threw 4 touchdown passes with 325 yards.

Jared Goff ($7,900) *FanDuel

Goff has picked things up for fantasy to close the season, posting four consecutive top-10 scoring weeks.

Since throwing 5 interceptions in Week 10, Goff has thrown 20 touchdown passes to 1 interception over his past seven games.

The Sunday night game has a shootout written all over it.

Minnesota has allowed the fewest passing points per attempt, but they could not slow down Goff when these teams met in Week 7.

Goff was 22-of-25 (88%) for 280 yards (11.2 Y/A) with a pair of passing touchdowns.

Bo Nix ($6,400/$7,800)

Denver must win on Sunday to secure a playoff spot, and they will face a Kansas City team resting multiple starters.

On the road against a full-strength Kansas City defense in Week 10, Nix was 22-of-30 (73.3%) for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns (16.1 fantasy points).
