  • Philadelphia games are averaging a league-low 33.4 combined points per game since Week 9.
  • The Eagles are averaging 1.37 points per drive over that span, ahead of only the Titans (1.35) and Jets (1.24).
  • Las Vegas averages a league-worst 1.08 points per drive on the road.
  • The Eagles have faced third and long (needing 7 or more yards) on 27.7% of their sets of downs, ahead of only the Browns (29.6%) and Titans (30%).
  • The Raiders are averaging 3.8 yards per play on offense over their past five games, the fewest in the league.
  • The Raiders have five runs of 10 or more yards since Week 7, the fewest in the NFL. Every other team has double digits. The Raiders have not had a run of 20 or more yards since Week 4.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: We expected Monday night to be a tough matchup for Hurts, but things bottomed out on this offense in the loss to the Chargers.

Hurts turned the ball over 5 times after having 5 turnovers on the season entering the game.

He had 2 turnovers on one play, which sort of summarizes the Philadelphia offense this season.

Hurts ended the game with 0.4 fantasy points, a complete disaster.

He has one QB1 scoring week over his past five games.

He has not thrown a touchdown in three of those games.

He has been a top-six scorer just three times this season.

We have been writing about this offensive inconsistency all season.

With Nick Sirianni rumored to be more involved in the offense this past week, the performance on Monday did not do him any favors.

We did not see any spike in rushing usage for Hurts despite the whispers that he would be used more as a runner.

Hurts had 1 designed run on Monday night.

Hurts is averaging a career-low 3.5 designed runs per game after 6.2, 6.0, 6.8, and 5.6 per game over his tenure as the starter.

He has not had a rushing touchdown in seven of his past 10 games.

Despite the issues, the Eagles are huge favorites at home against a nondescript defense.

Even if we price in trepidation based on the results this season, this is an objectively good enough spot to keep Hurts in play as a back-end QB1 with added upside that this offense puts even a partially good game together.

We could see Lane Johnson back this week, who was targeting Week 15 as a potential return.

That would be a significant return and boost Hurts higher in expectations.

With Johnson on the field this season (247 dropbacks), Hurts has completed 70% of his passes for 7.6 yards per pass attempt with 12 touchdowns (5.9% TD rate) and 1 interception.

With Johnson off the field (193 dropbacks), Hurts has completed 58.7% of his passes for 6.8 Y/A with 7 touchdowns (3.9%) and 5 interceptions.

The Raiders are 21st in pressure rate (33.9%), 30th in completion rate allowed (68.5%), 19th in yards allowed per pass attempt (7.1), and 17th in touchdown rate allowed (4.6%).

Raiders QB: Geno Smith left last week’s game with a cut on his throwing hand and then was forced from the game again with a shoulder injury.

Kenny Pickett came in and cleaned things up Sunday against the Broncos.

Regardless of whether we see Smith or Pickett this week, neither passer is more than a desperation option for needy 2QB gamers, which is unlikely at this stage of the fantasy season.

The Eagles are allowing a league-low 55.9% completion rate, 6.6 yards per pass attempt (8th), and a 2.9% touchdown rate (3rd) as part of allowing 11.6 passing points per game (5th).
