Quarterback

Taylor Heinicke: It has not always been pretty and Heinicke qualifies as a “hair on fire” quarterback, but the fantasy points keep coming in. Heinicke was the QB5 (27.9 points) last week, giving him 20 or more points now in all four of his starts going back to the playoffs last season. Three of those games have involved Washington chasing the scoreboard against teams that have scored 30-plus points and the Saints’ offense may not help out that cause, but Heinicke also offers some mobility with 4.3 and 8.1 rushing points the past two games.

New Orleans has been a mixed bag defensively, allowing 18.2 points to Sam Darnold and 26.7 to Daniel Jones while also allowing 1.3 points to Aaron Rodgers and 11.6 points to Mac Jones.  With the Saints’ offense doing little to inspire a shootout, Heinicke is floor-based QB2.
