Quarterback

Kyler Murray: Murray didn’t play a clean game on Sunday, but he did more than enough from a fantasy perspective. Murray threw two interceptions, but also threw for a season-high 326 yards and had some regression to the mean working towards his career touchdown rate, throwing a season-high three touchdown passes. With an additional 36 yards rushing, Murray was able to produce his first top-five fantasy week of the season.

These teams just played back in Week 6. In that game, Arizona did not score an offensive touchdown as Murray threw for just 222 yards and 6.0 yards per pass attempt. Murray did rush for a season-high 100 yards in that game, but that week was the start of this defensive turnaround for the Seattle defense.

Seattle pressured Murray on 34.0% of his dropbacks in that game, which has been his bugaboo all season long. Under pressure this season, Murray is completing 40.3% of his passes (36th) for 3.4 yards per pass attempt, a rate only higher than Zach Wilson (3.0 Y/A).

There is a low bar to clear for Murray to be better in this rematch. Murray also did not have DeAndre Hopkins at his disposal in the first meeting between these teams. With Hopkins the past two weeks, Murray has his two highest yards per pass attempt marks on the season. His rushing ability gives him multiple avenues to still produce a viable floor and keep him in play as a QB1.
