  • The 49ers are 8-0 in games that they have led at the half, compared to 1-4 when trailing at the half.
  • The Titans have led at the half twice this season, tied for the fewest in the league.
  • The 49ers have converted 48.2% of their third downs, 3rd in the league.
  • The Titans have converted a league-low 29.9% of their third downs.
  • The Titans are 30th in EPA as a pass defense over their past eight games (-46.5).
  • San Francisco has converted a league-high 75.9% (22 of 29) of their red zone trips into touchdowns over their past eight games.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Brock Purdy (TRUST): Purdy has only one QB1 scoring week over his five starts, but he has held a high floor, scoring 16.8 points or more in four of those games.

This is an excellent spot for Purdy to turn in another spike week at home with a team total just under 30 points.

The Titans have allowed a QB1 scorer in seven straight games, coming off allowing 33.5 points to Shedeur Sanders on Sunday.

The Titans are 24th in pressure rate (33.1%), and when they haven't generated pressure, they have been brutal on the back end.

Without pressure, the Titans are allowing 8.8 yards per pass attempt (30th) and a 6.4% touchdown rate (28th).

An area where Purdy has had issues is downfield passing.

He has thrown 1 touchdown and 7 interceptions on throws of 10 or more yards downfield.

The Titans are allowing a 57.8% completion rate (31st), a league-high 12.9 yards per pass attempt, and an 8.6% touchdown rate (29th) on throws 10-plus yards downfield.

Cam Ward: Ward completed just 50% (14 of 28) of his passes on Sunday for 117 yards (4.2 Y/A) with 2 touchdowns and an interception.

After rushing for 33 and 37 yards in Weeks 11 and 12, Ward has rushed for 11 yards over the past two games.

Ward has now completed 59.1% of his passes (32nd) for 5.6 Y/A (33rd).

He is a back-end QB2 for fantasy purposes, but there are some paths for a better outlook here.

San Francisco is 22nd in passing points allowed per attempt (0.460), the lowest of any team Ward has faced this season.

San Francisco is 31st in pressure rate (29.7%) and has a league-low 3.4% sack rate.

Over their past nine games, the 49ers have allowed a 69.5% completion rate (30th), 7.5 yards per pass attempt (25th), and a 5.5% touchdown rate (23rd).

The 49ers have been a defense we have targeted due to all of their injuries, but they have done a good job of playing to their opponents, not allowing streaming types to punch up against them.

They have allowed QB1 weeks to Matthew Stafford (twice), Baker Mayfield, Jaxson Dart, C.J. Stroud, and Jacoby Brissett, but they also have limited Michael Penix (12.2 points), Bryce Young (8.3 points), and Shedeur Sanders (10.6 points).
