Week 18 Prediction: Marvin Mims More Than 2.5 Receptions
Marvin Mims Jr. is coming alive as the Broncos season comes to a conclusion.
He’s had 3+ receptions in five straight games including 8 receptions on 8 targets in last week’s game against the Bengals.
Whenever a player is catching everything that comes his way, you can bet the playcaller and quarterback have a lot of confidence in calling his number the next week.
In a must-win game with the Chiefs resting starters, I think that happens.
The team is hunting for ways to get the explosive Mims the ball more.
This week, coach Sean Payton said, “He’s got that vertical speed and he’s good with the ball in his hands as a runner. We’ve seen his confidence grow as a receiver and runner and returner.”
OC Joe Lombardi added, “A lot of variables go into those downfield shots.
