Wild Card Round Prediction: Marvin Mims More Than 40.5 Receiving Yards
I’m going back to Marvelous Marvin Mims in his Wild Card game against the Bills, backing his receiving yardage.
He’s gained at least 44 receiving yards in six of seven games to close the season, and his lowest totals were games the Broncos won.
As 9-point underdogs, it’s more likely the Broncos will be playing from behind, which will put even more emphasis on Mims in this offense.
In the last three Broncos games which were either losses or single-digit wins, Mims had 105, 103, and 62 receiving yards.
He also caught 5 of 5 passes last week and 8 of 8 the prior week, so this staff should have a lot of confidence in the young receiver and design things for him frequently in a must-win game.
