Biggest NFL Week 5 Injuries:
Omarion Hampton Injury Update
Chargers running back Omarion Hampton left the game in the second half with an ankle injury and didn't return.
While we don't have an official update on Hampton, he was seen leaving the locker room in a walking boot following the game.
The Chargers running backs struggled to run the ball against the Commanders with Hampton out, rushing nine times for 31 yards.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson sat out Week 5 with a hamstring injury, but Jay Glazer reported on Sunday that Jackson has “an outside shot” to suit up next week.
The Ravens offense mustered just 10 points with Cooper Rush under center and are now 1-4 heading into next week's game against the Rams.
Baltimore does have a bye in Week 7 so if Jackson misses another game, he will have an extra week to heal up.
Other Notable Week 5 Injuries
- Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson left in the first half due to an ankle injury and never returned. Dickerson has been dealing with knee and back injuries this year and his effectiveness has suffered. It's worth wondering if he's close to being put on the IR as the injuries pile up.
- Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy is considered questionable for Monday night's game after his ankle swole up on the flight to Jacksonville. He made his 2025 debut last week after missing the start of the season with a shoulder injury.
- Bills LB Matt Milano suffered a pectoral injury on Sunday night against the Patriots.
- Cowboys LB Jack Sanborn left Sunday's game with a head injury and is currently in concussion protocol.
- Lions CB Terrion Arnold might have aggravated his shoulder injury on Sunday after entering the week questionable to play. He was carted to the locker room and ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a shoulder injury.
- Colts K Spencer Shrader suffered a knee injury after being hit on an extra point attempt and could miss some time. “It doesn't look good,” said Shane Steichen after the game.
- Saints S Justin Reid left Sunday's game against the Giants due to a concussion.
- Giants WR Darius Slayton suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday. The Giants have a short week this week, hosting the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.
- Seahawks CB Riq Woolen sat out the end of Sunday's game after being diagnosed with a concussion.
- The Buccaneers expect Bucky Irving to miss at least one more week after he sat out Week 5 due to foot and shoulder injuries.
