- Miami has converted 2 of their past 11 red zone trips (18.2%) into touchdowns after a 65.2% rate (15 of 23) prior.
- Miami has averaged 4.6 yards per play on the road (27th) compared to 5.9 yards per play at home (7th).

Quarterback
Tyrod Taylor: Taylor did not find a lot of success as a passer on Sunday, completing 19 of 33 (57.6%) of his throws for 172 yards (5.2 Y/A), but he did not turn the ball over, threw a touchdown, and rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown to elevate his fantasy day.
Taylor ended the week as the QB6 (21.3 points).
Taylor has been usable in all three of his starts this season, ending those weeks as the QB10 (16.7 points), QB17 (12.8 points), and last week’s game.
He did have a season-high 10.4 rushing points to get over last week after 4.8 and 1.9 rushing points in his first two starts, but that rushing score is always potentially an outcome.
Although he did not throw the ball great on Sunday outside of a 52-yard bomb to Adonai Mitchell, the Jets have been much willing to play aggressively with Taylor under center than with Justin Fields.
The Jets have a 66.1% dropback rate in Taylor’s three starts compared to a 54.1% dropback rate with Fields.
They have a 61.7% dropback rate in neutral game scripts, compared to 49.8% with Fields.
That allows for more positive outcomes for Taylor and puts him in play as a floor-based QB2 who can flirt with QB1 output when he tacks rushing scores or runs hot in the passing touchdown department.
The Dolphins have allowed 4.5 rushing points per game (30th) to quarterbacks, giving Taylor a baseline to work from.
Miami has allowed a QB1 scorer in four straight games, which includes Marcus Mariota (15.4 points) and Tyler Shough (17.4 points).
Tua Tagovailoa: Tua has finished in the front half of weekly scoring twice this season.
On Sunday, he completed 12 of 23 passes (52.2%) for 157 yards (6.8 Y/A) without a touchdown and an interception.
Tagovailoa has thrown for 205 yards or less in 9 of 12 games.
Miami has swerved heavily into the run.
Tua has attempted more than 26 passes once over his past six games.
Over that span, Miami has a 50.9% dropback rate, ahead of only Seattle (48.1%).
They have thrown the ball 8% below expectations in those games.
That leaves Tua as a QB2.
When these teams played in Week 4, Tagovailoa was QB19 (15.7 points), completing 17 of 25 passes for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns.
If Miami does choose to throw the ball aggressively, the Jets are 25th in passing points allowed per pass attempt (0.492).
