2027 NFL Mock Draft: Team by Team Breakdown

1. Arizona Cardinals, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Arch Manning, QB, Texas

Cardinals Projected Win Total: 4.5

Even after a disappointing season in 2025, Manning is still the clear betting favorite to be the first overall pick in 2027 at +225. Granted, he will need to have a better season in 2026 to solidify that spot, but he is also the betting favorite to win the Heisman, so most are expecting him to live up to the hype this season.

2. Miami Dolphins, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

Dolphins Projected Win Total: 4.5

The Dolphins essentially made a two-year commitment to newly signed quarterback Malik Willis with how they structured the deal. Let’s be honest, they haven’t given him much to work with this year, so it will be hard to get a full evaluation of him after just one year. One way to help him would be to add the consensus best player in this draft and one of the best wide receiver prospects we’ve seen in a long time.

3. New York Jets, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Jets Projected Win Total: 5.5

The Jets had two chances to take a quarterback in the first round of the 2026 draft and decided to kick the can down the road to 2027, where they now have three chances at it. They don’t pass up the chance this year and take Moore, who they probably would’ve taken had he declared for the draft this year. Moore is currently the second favorite to be the first overall pick at +380.

4. Las Vegas Raiders, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

Raiders Projected Win Total: 5.5

With their franchise quarterback secured, the Raiders now need to start giving him more weapons to work with than they currently have. Coleman is expected to see a massive jump in production in Steve Sarkisian’s offense, and he is playing alongside the Heisman favorite in Manning, as discussed earlier.

5. Cleveland Browns, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State

Browns Projected Win Total: 6.5

Cleveland has been trying to solve their quarterback problem by drafting three quarterbacks in the past two drafts, but none in the first two rounds. It’s time to stop playing quarterback carousel and make a serious attempt to find their franchise quarterback. Sayin, who was the consensus top quarterback coming out of high school, is also one of the favorites to win the Heisman this year after having what many considered a good but not great first year as the starter at Ohio State.

6. Tennessee Titans, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

Titans Projected Win Total: 6.5

Tennessee, and specifically new head coach Robert Saleh, surprised everyone on draft night by not going defense with their first pick. Well, don’t expect them to do that two years in a row, especially with a prospect like Stewart on the board. He is listed at 6-foot-6, 250 pounds and has a very rare blend of size, speed, and power.

7. Atlanta Falcons, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU

Falcons Projected Win Total: 7.5

Jake Matthews will be 35 and has no guaranteed money after this season, so it’s time to find his replacement. That said, depending on how their quarterbacks perform this year, the Falcons may be another team in the market early in this draft. Seaton was the number one offensive tackle prospect in the 2024 class and, after playing two seasons under Deion Sanders, has transferred to Lane Kiffin and LSU to be their new starting left tackle.

8. Carolina Panthers, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Drew Mestemaker, QB, Oklahoma State

Panthers Projected Win Total: 7.5

Even though the Panthers have exercised the fifth-year option on quarterback Bryce Young, if they are picking in the top 10 next year, as they are predicted to do in the betting markets, it will probably be time to look for his replacement. Mestemaker, who had a huge year at North Texas, will now be able to showcase his talents on a bigger stage at Oklahoma State this season. If all goes well, he should be one of the first quarterbacks off the board in 2027.

9. New York Giants, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame

Giants Projected Win Total: 7.5

It’s rare that you have a top prospect at a premium position fall all the way to nine, but that is the case this year with Moore since there are so many teams drafting ahead of the Giants that potentially will need quarterbacks. According to PFF, Moore finished the 2025 season with a 92.6 coverage grade, which ranked #1 among all Power 4 cornerbacks.

10. New Orleans Saints, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas

Saints Projected Win Total: 7.5

Simmons falls down the board further than he probably should as well due to the same circumstances as Moore. Going into the draft, many thought New Orleans would take a pass rusher early to replace Cam Jordan. Not only did they not take one early, but they didn’t take one at all, so maybe Jordan will ultimately return for one year. Either way, they will need to address it early in 2027, and having an elite prospect like Simmons still available will make that decision easy for them.

11. Washington Commanders, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana

Commanders Projected Win Total: 7.5

The Commanders were strongly rumored to be interested in wide receiver CarnellTate, but the Titans didn’t give them that opportunity, so instead they went defense with Sonny Styles. They need to support Jayden Daniels in this draft, especially if they are picking this early, so they go with the 6-foot-3, 213-pound Marsh to give him a big X receiver that they are currently lacking on the roster.

12. New York Jets (From Indianapolis), Top Draft Pick Prediction: Zabien Brown, CB, Alabama

Colts Projected Win Total: 7.5

The Jets addressed their missing piece of the puzzle on offense with their first pick, so now they can focus on their defense, which was 32nd in passing defense EPA and did not have an interception in 2025. Brown actually scored twice on defense last year, which is the exact type of boost to the secondary the Jets need.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Trey’Dez Green, TE, LSU

Buccaneers Projected Win Total: 8.5

GM Jason Licht is known to covet high relative athletic scores in the first round, and the athletic 6-foot-7 Green should fit that profile. While Cade Otton did sign a three-year contract extension, they could still use another pass catcher after losing Mike Evans.

14. Minnesota Vikings, Top Draft Pick Prediction: LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina

Vikings Projected Win Total: 8.5

2026 feels like a make-or-break year for both the quarterbacks currently on the Vikings roster. I don’t think head coach Kevin O’Connell will hesitate to move on from either or both if they miss the playoffs again in 2026 and replace them with someone who seems to be more of his prototype at the position. Many scouts believe Sellers has as much upside as any quarterback at the college level if he can just put it all together.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Darian Mensah, QB, Miami

Steelers Projected Win Total: 8.5

As of this very moment, Pittsburgh is still playing the waiting game with Aaron Rodgers for the 2026 season. While it is widely assumed he will ultimately be back at some point, one would have to think this is the last year Pittsburgh wants to be forced to play this game. Mensah had a very productive career at Duke and now joins Miami with a chance at competing on a bigger stage with a championship contender. Since this is the last quarterback I have projected in the first round, I do just want to mention that I am not including CJ Carr in this class, as many believe he will not declare for 2027.

16. New York Jets (From Dallas), Top Draft Pick Prediction: David Stone, DL, Oklahoma

Cowboys Projected Win Total: 9.5

After addressing the edge position with David Bailey, the Jets fortify their defensive line early in the 2027 draft with the consensus top defensive tackle in the class to be the long-term replacement for Quinnen Williams.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

Jaguars Projected Win Total: 9.5

The Jaguars don’t have much depth at defensive tackle, especially with Arik Armstead in the final year of his contract, so it should be a priority early in the draft next year. Echoles is considered to be the best run-stopping tackle in the country.

18. Cincinnati Bengals, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Sammy Brown, LB, Clemson

Bengals Projected Win Total: 9.5

Cincinnati surprised everyone by making the big splash before the draft and trading their pick for Dexter Lawrence. They probably had a good idea they weren’t going to be able to land their preferred target in Sonny Styles, which they ended up being correct about, but they still haven’t really addressed their hole at linebacker. Brown is considered the best in the country heading into this season.

19. Chicago Bears, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Jordan Ross, EDGE, LSU

Bears Projected Win Total: 9.5

While the defensive line, specifically a pass rusher, was considered a priority for Chicago in the 2026 draft, they had to be surprised that Dillon Thieneman was still available when they were on the clock. They could not pass on him since safety was also a need. While he had limited snaps at Tennessee last season, the No. 1 ranked edge recruit in the 2024 class is expected to see a significant increase in playing time at LSU this season.

20. Denver Broncos, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Jamari Johnson, TE, Oregon

Broncos Projected Win Total: 9.5

Head coach Sean Payton has let it be known he’s constantly on the lookout for a “joker” role in his offense, and Johnson, who was a former quarterback and running back before transitioning to a full time tight end, should be exactly what he is looking for and permanently fill that role.

21. Houston Texans, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Ahmad Hardy, RB, Missouri

Texans Projected Win Total: 9.5

With one of the best rosters in the league, this will also be a big season for C.J. Stroud. Their projected win total suggests they will be in the playoffs, so in the short term, they continue to build around him. Hardy led the Power Four in rushing and led the nation with 1,186 yards after contact last season. Over 71% of his yards came after he was initially hit.

22. New England Patriots, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Ellis Robinson, CB, Georgia

Patriots Projected Win Total: 9.5

As of right now, star cornerback Christian Gonzalez has not signed an extension. While it is widely expected that he will, adding another elite corner in Robinson should be in consideration either way. As just a red-shirt freshman, Robinson was the highest-ranked corner on the Georgia defense last season and earned the FWAA Defensive Freshman of the Year award.

23. Los Angeles Chargers, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Austin Siereveld, OL, Ohio State

Chargers Projected Win Total: 10.5

The Chargers were absolutely decimated by injuries along the offensive line last year, and while both stud offensive tackles will be back this season, they could still use help on the interior. Why not target someone who has experience at both spots in Siereveld?

24. Kansas City Chiefs, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

Chiefs Projected Win Total: 10.5

Jaylon Moore only has one year left under contract, and after releasing Jawaan Taylor, I think it’s safe to assume Kansas City will be looking for a long-term answer at offensive tackle next offseason. Goosby almost declared for the 2026 draft, but with only 15 career starts, decided to return to Texas. If he continues to develop like many think he can, he could certainly hear his name called much sooner than this.

25. Philadelphia Eagles, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Lance Heard, OT, Kentucky

Eagles Projected Win Total: 10.5

GM Howie Roseman did typical Howie Roseman things in this draft by not only trading up for a player that was falling farther than expected but also stealing him while he was on the phone with their in-state rival Steelers. However, they waited until the third round to address the offensive line, so this time they look for a possible Lane Johnson replacement a bit earlier with Heard, who is a former five-star recruit with a massive frame at 6-foot-6, 340 pounds.

26. San Francisco 49ers, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Carter Smith, OT, Indiana

49ers Projected Win Total: 10.5

Trent Williams did recently sign a contract extension, but he will be turning 39 before the 2027 season. Not only do they need to make plans for his replacement sooner rather than later, but they could also use an upgrade at other spots along the line that Smith could provide before he becomes the eventual replacement at left tackle.

27. Dallas Cowboys (From Green Bay), Top Draft Pick Prediction: Ryan Williams, WR, Alabama

Packers Projected Win Total: 10.5

Heading into the 2025 season, Williams was considered to be in the same tier of prospect as Jeremiah Smith, but the 2026 season saw a down year in production and some issues with drops. If he can return to even close to his 2025 form, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys would run this pick to the podium, especially with the uncertainty around George Pickens‘ long-term future.

28. Detroit Lions, Top Draft Pick Prediction: KJ Bolden, S, Georgia

Lions Projected Win Total: 10.5

We heard a lot about the term positional value in the 2026 draft, and we will hear it again for Bolden next year. Bolden has the talent to go much earlier than this, but we just saw Caleb Downs not get drafted in the top 10, Dillon Thieneman fall to 25, and the next safety didn’t go until pick 58, even though many thought he could go in the first round. The NFL is sending a clear message of how they view the safety position.

29. Buffalo Bills, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Omarion Miller, WR, Arizona State

Bills Projected Win Total: 10.5

Buffalo already seems ready to move on from Keon Coleman, and while they did add a possession receiver in Skyler Bell in the draft, they could still use an outside vertical threat, which Miller projects to be.

30. Seattle Seahawks, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State

Seahawks Projected Win Total: 10.5

Some were surprised when the Seahawks took a running back in the first round, but you could argue it was their biggest need. However, a close second would have been cornerback, so they address it early in the 2027 draft with Jones. At 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, Jones feels like the prototypical Seattle corner.

31. Baltimore Ravens, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Kewan Lacy, RB, Ole Miss

Ravens Projected Win Total: 11.5

Derrick Henry is defying all the odds of being able to continue playing the running back position at such a high level at his age, but he will be 33, turning 34 in the 2027 season. While he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down yet, it’s time for the Ravens to start looking for his long-term replacement, which Lacy would certainly be.

32. Los Angeles Rams, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Mario Craver, WR, Texas A&M

Rams Projected Win Total: 11.5

Everyone assumed the Rams would be going with a pass catcher with their first pick to go all in on the 2026 season as the Super Bowl favorites. However, they made the most shocking pick of the first round and selected quarterback Ty Simpson to start planning for life after Matthew Stafford. Whether it’s Stafford or Simpson under center for them in 2027, they should grab a pass catcher this time around, and Craver caught the attention of many scouts already as they were watching film of his teammate KC Concepcion, who went in the first round of the 2026 draft.
