Biggest NFL Week 7 Injuries:
Mike Evans Injury Update
Mike Evans suffered a concussion and a shoulder injury while attempting to come down with a catch on Monday night.
Evans was visibly shaky when trying to walk off the field, and he ultimately rode the cart into the locker room.
After the game, the Bucs revealed Evans suffered a broken collarbone on the play, putting him out for most of, if not the rest of, the regular season.
This is a devastating blow for the Bucs, who just got Evans back from a hamstring injury and are expected to be without Chris Godwin or RB Bucky Irving this week.
The good news is Emeka Egbuka emerged from Monday night unscathed following his quick return from his hamstring injury.
Nico Collins Injury Update
Nico Collins left in the fourth quarter on Monday night after his head slammed into the ground.
The expectation is that he will land in concussion protocol, a real concern on a short week.
The Texans will need to lean on their young receivers if Collins is forced to miss time.
Jayden Daniels Injury Update
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels suffered a hamstring injury in the second half on Sunday against the Cowboys.
Daniels' return was initially questionable, but he did not return to the game. He has been ruled out for Monday night's game with a low-grade hamstring injury.
He previously missed two games this season due to a knee injury.
The good news in Washington is that both Deebo Samuel and Terry McLaurin are expected to be at practice this week and could return to game action on Monday night.
Saquon Barkley Injury Update
Eagles RB Saquon Barkley was slow to get up after taking a hit in the fourth quarter and was seen on the sideline getting his shoulder looked at by the team's trainers.
However, Barkley was evaluated for a concussion and cleared to return to the game before the Eagles' next possession.
It was another tough day for the reigning rushing champ as he had 15 carries for 46 yards before his injury.
Bryce Young Injury Update
Panthers QB Bryce Young exited the game on Sunday after being sacked in the third quarter.
After a slow walk to the locker room, it was reported that Young suffered an ankle injury, and a high-ankle sprain was confirmed on Monday.
Andy Dalton should be in line for at least a couple of starts.
Maxx Crosby Injury Update
Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby left the game in the second quarter due to a knee injury.
It was later reported that the injury is not expected to cost him much time, and the Raiders are on bye in Week 8, giving him more time to heal.
Crosby's 4 sacks this season is tied for the team lead with Jonah Laulu.
Other Notable Week 7 Injuries
- Jets CB Sauce Gardner is in the concussion protocol.
- Saints RB Kendre Miller suffered a torn ACL, which will keep him out for the rest of the season. The Saints also lost C Erik McCoy to a season-ending biceps injury.
- Eagles C Cam Jurgens left in the second quarter due to a knee injury. He was ruled out officially early in the third quarter.
- Titans DL Jeffery Simmons exited in the first half with a hamstring injury. Tennessee also lost CB L'Jarius Sneed to injury.
- In addition to a devastating loss, the Giants lost CB Paulson Adebo and S Jevon Holland to injuries against the Broncos.
- Chiefs RG Trey Smith left early against the Raiders, though it is unclear if he is dealing with a serious injury or if Kansas City was just playing it safe in a lopsided game.
- Jets RB Breece Hall suffered an injury scare when it looked like his ankle was rolled up, but he returned in the second half.
- The Dolphins placed Darren Waller on the IR due to a pectoral injury. He will miss at least four games, but this isn't expected to be a season-ending injury.
- The Eagles don't expect Azeez Ojulari to be active against his former team on Sunday. Philadelphia did sign Brandon Graham out of retirement this week to provide depth at edge rusher.
