We enter the final stretch of the regular season with 19 NFL teams within two games of a playoff position and only a handful of teams mathematically eliminated already.

With byes returning this week, there are only 15 games on the schedule this week, but all of them could be impacted by the availability of key players. Keep an eye on this page throughout the week as we update it with every injury report and analysis on the major storylines.

Najee Harris will be active on Sunday after injuring his oblique last week on Monday Night Football. He’s struggled all season, averaging just 3.7 yards per carry.

However, things have turned around in recent weeks for the Alabama product. He’s topped 90 rushing yards twice and scored three touchdowns in his last two games.

Benny Snell filled in last week, but popped up on the injury report on Thursday with a knee injury. Rookie Jaylen Warren has averaged 5.0 yards per carry this season and has added 16 catches for 137 yards in the passing game.

Elijah Wilkinson was designated to return from the IR on Wednesday, but wasn’t optimistic he would be ready to step back in to his spot at left guard against the Steelers.

Wilkinson did return to practice on Friday after sitting out of Thursday’s session.

Chuma Edoga made a start at left guard in Week 11, but didn’t practice on Thursday due to a knee injury. That could pave the way for Colby Gossett to make his fourth start of the season.

Gossett has struggled this season, allowing six total pressures in 98 pass blocking snaps and grading out as the Falcons worst pass-blocker on Pro Football Focus.

Aaron Rodgers is expected to keep playing until the Packers are eliminated from playoff contention despite dealing with a broken thumb and rib injury.

He’s been playing through the thumb issue since Week 5, but the rib injury suffered against the Eagles last week forced him out of action in the second half.

While Rodgers hasn’t looked like himself this season, one thing that has remained consistent is his dominance of the Chicago Bears. In his career, Rodgers is 23-5 against Chicago and he posted a passer rating of 131.1 in a 27-10 win earlier this season.

– Rodgers will not have All Pro David Bakhtiari protecting his blindside as the left tackle has been ruled out after undergoing an appendectomy on Friday. With Yosh Nijman now at right tackle, rookie Zach Tom is the next man up at left tackle.

Tom started at left tackle back in Week 7 and allowed zero pressures in 41 pass blocking snaps.

Justin Fields seems to be on-track to return after missing one game with a left shoulder injury. He was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday’s practice after being limited all last week. Backup Trevor Siemian has been ruled out due to his own injury.

Fields struggled against Green Bay in Week 2, completing seven of his 11 pass attempts for 70 yards and rushing for a season-low 20 yards on eight carries.

Fields has averaged 106 rushing yards per game since Week 6 and the Packers defense was shredded by Jalen Hurts last week for 157 rushing yards on 17 carries.

Etienne currently ranks fourth in the NFL among running backs in yards per carry this season and has averaged 85 rushing yards per game since the Jaguars moved him into the starting lineup.

Former 49er Jamycal Hasty is the Jaguars backup running back. He has 25 carries for 120 yards this season.

Bryant is averaging 7.8 yards per reception this season and is averaging a career-high 2.1 receptions per game. In the Browns win over the Texans last season, Bryant caught four passes for 49 yards.

– The big news in Cleveland is the return of Deshaun Watson, who has been reinstated from his suspension. Watson led the NFL in yards per attempt and tossed 33 touchdowns for a 4-12 Texans squad in 2020.

Under Jacoby Brissett, the Browns offense ranked 16th in passing first downs and net yards per pass attempt this season.

Brandin Cooks was a late addition to the injury report this week, but has been ruled out with a calf injury. He’s averaged 55 yards per game since missing Week 9 against the Eagles.

Nico Collins has been their second-best receiver in 2022, catching 34 passes for 446 yards. Chris Moore caught a touchdown in the game Cooks missed last month.

The Texans offense has been putrid as of late, ranking 31st in total points and scoring no more than 24 points in any game this season.

The Jets turned to Zonovan White last week and he rushed for 69 yards in his NFL debut. James Robinson was a healthy scratch against the Bears, but could return to the active roster. Since being acquired by New York, Robinson has 75 rushing yards on 25 carries.

With Sterling Shepard and Wan’Dale Robinson both out for the rest of the season, the next receivers on the depth chart are Isaiah Hodgins, David Sills V and Kenny Golladay.

Hodgins has gotten the start in each of the past two weeks and has caught six passes for 60 yards. Meanwhile, Sills hasn’t played since Week 8 and Golladay has just four catches for 51 yards all season.

Evan Neal should make his first start since injuring his knee back in Week 7. The rookie allowed five sacks in his first seven starts, although three of them came in one game against the Cowboys.

Among tackles with 200 pass blocking snaps, Neal has the ninth-lowest grade on Pro Football Focus this season.

Blankenship got an interception on Sunday night, but also took a poor angle on a slant route and allowed a 62-yard touchdown.

– Philadelphia could also get rookie defensive tackle Jordan Davis back after he spent four weeks on the IR with an ankle sprain. The Eagles added Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph in recent weeks to bolster their interior run defense.

Davis ranked eighth among all NFL linemen in run defense grade on Pro Football Focus prior to his injury. It will be a tough assignment this week, going against Derrick Henry, however Henry has averaged just 2.78 yards per carry in his last three games.

Courtland Sutton was a late addition to the injury report this week, sitting out of Friday’s practice with an illness. Both he and Jerry Jeudy are considered questionable while KJ Hamler is out again.

Last week, Perkins completed 13 of his 23 pass attempts for 100 yards, one touchdown and a pair of interceptions. He was also sacked three times, but did add 44 yards as a runner.

Seattle’s defense is ninth in the NFL in interceptions, but does rank 24th in net yards per pass attempt allowed.

– The Rams will also be without Aaron Donald who suffered a high ankle sprain last week. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year had a career-low 5.0 sacks this season and 10 tackles for loss. He’s never played less than 14 games in a season.

Jonah Williams could get his first NFL start after playing a career-high 24 snaps against the Chiefs last week. Williams has just four quarterback pressures in his career, all coming last season.

Deebo Samuel did return to practice on Friday, but “didn’t do much,” according to Kyle Shanahan and is considered questionable. The offensive weapon is dealing with a thigh bruise and the healing process is moving slower than expected.

With Elijah Mitchell already ruled out, that could put more pressure on Christian McCaffrey and his sore knee. The former Panther had his worst game as a 49er last week, earning 49 yards from scrimmage on 15 touches.

Jordan Mason chipped in with 25 rushing yards on five carries.

Trent Williams exited Friday’s practice early due to back spasms, but the team still expects him to play on Sunday. Shanahan referred to the injury as “big-guy problems.”

Williams has been one of the best left tackles in football since moving to San Francisco, but missed two games earlier in the season. Jaylon Moore got those starts and allowed one sack and three quarterback hits.

Mike Williams will be inactive again after aggravating his ankle injury back in Week 11.

With Moore out, Isaiah Rodgers and Tony Brown could rotate as the nickelback with Rodgers staying on the outside in the base defense.

– The Colts will also be missing right tackle Braden Smith who is out with an illness. While Jeff Saturday has refused to announce a replacement due to “competitive advantage,” it’s safe to assume Matt Pryor or Dennis Kelly will get the start.

Pryor did start at right tackle once this season, but allowed nine total pressures and three sacks. Kelly has only played left tackle this season, but made five starts at right tackle for the Packers last season and was the Titans’ full-time starter the year before that.
