NFL Week 17 Injury Report For All 32 Teams

The calendar turns to 2023 this weekend, but we still have two more weeks to go in the 2022 NFL regular season.

With the playoff race heating up, only a quarter of the league has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason.

– With Colt McCoy ruled out again, the Cardinals will turn to their fourth different quarterback of the last four weeks, handing the reigns to David Blough against the Falcons.

Blough hasn't started a game since 2019 when he went 0-5 for the Lions, completing 54 percent of his passes and averaging 5.7 yards per attempt.

– Despite suffering a leg injury last Saturday, Jamaal Williams wasn't listed on any practice report this week and has a clean bill of health heading into Sunday.

Williams leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns and has scored 12 times on 37 carries inside opponents' 10-yard-line.

– Frank Ragnow is questionable after being upgraded to a limited participant in Friday's practice. Except for Week 2, Ragnow has played every offensive snap this season.

– Doug Pederson said this week that he wouldn't ever give less than 100-percent in an NFL game, although his track record says otherwise. He famously benched Jalen Hurts at halftime of the 2020 finale to secure a better draft pick.

The Jaguars have lost nine consecutive games to the Texans, but it wouldn't be surprising to see some key veterans play less snaps with a division title clash against the Titans coming up next week.

– Rookie tight end Greg Dulcich is out this week after injuring his hamstring against the Rams on Christmas.

Dulcich averaged 6.5 targets per game over the last four weeks, but has caught only 14 passes for 177 yards and one touchdown.

Eric Saubert is second on the team in tight end snaps this season, catching 12 passes for 118 yards on 21 targets.

– Terron Armstead becomes the first player to be listed with four concurrent injuries this season. He's still listed as questionable despite sitting out of practice all week.

Backup Greg Little is also questionable after popping up on the injury report on Friday with a foot injury and Eric Fisher is doubtful due to a calf issue.

– Tua Tagovailoa remains in concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the loss to the Packers.

Despite the head injury, Tagovailoa stayed in the game and went 7-13 for 81 yards and threw three interceptions after when the injury was suspected.

Teddy Bridgewater hasn’t played since Week 6 when he threw two interceptions in a 24-16 loss to the Vikings.

The Dolphins are clinging to the AFC’s final playoff spot with games against the Patriots and Jets on the schedule to end the season.

– Jalen Hurts will be inactive for the second consecutive game after injuring his throwing shoulder. Gardner Minshew will start once again.

Minshew went 24-40 for 355 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Dallas, throwing a pair of picks as well.

– Lane Johnson will be inactive as well as he recovers from a torn adductor. Jack Driscoll will start at right tackle for the first time since Week 4 of 2021.

Johnson hasn't allowed a sack in 2020.

In 77 snaps at right tackle this season, Driscoll has allowed three pressures and zero quarterback hits or sacks.

– Carson Wentz will return to the starting lineup for the first time since he injured his thumb back in October.

He came in late against the 49ers last week and completed 12 of his 16 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.

– The Commanders secondary is banged up with Kam Curl expected to be inactive and Benjamin St-Juste listed as questionable.

Pro Bowl special teamer Jeremy Reaves started for Curl last week and earned the team's second-highest defensive grade on Pro Football Focus.

St-Juste was replaced by Danny Johnson. Johnson previously started against the Giants earlier this season, allowing six catches on eight targets.

– Both Chandler Jones and Denzel Perryman are on the IR and will miss the rest of the season. Jones is dealing with an elbow injury and Perryman dislocated his shoulder against the Steelers.

Perryman made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and leads the Raiders in total tackles this season. Undrafted rookie Darien Butler could see an increase in playing time after playing a season-high 12 snaps on Saturday.

Former third-round pick Malcolm Koonce could get more snaps with Jones out. He has just one total pressure in 38 pass rushing snaps this season.
